Old Harbor Apartments 186 Bay Street, Shepherdsville, KY 40165

"I have lived here for over two years. Apartments are rented out clean. However, it is difficult to get any kind of response from management and/or maintenance. I don't believe they care about their residents, as it seems the only time I've ever received a timely response has been when water was pouring from my heating unit(in April). However, I have wasps flying around inside my apartment at this time, and I did let management know, even texted a picture to them, and I have yet to receive any assistance with this situation. The only thing I was told is that there is a wasp nest outside. I explained again that the door needs to be sealed properly and that the wasps inside my apartment need to be taken care of. I have also called twice since. No one has answered or responded. This is a major issue, as my well being is at awake as well as my children's. This doesn't include the "normal" issues, such as my heat still not being repaired other things. Update: a month later, I am sll waiting for my heat to be repaired. It originally broke in April. It is now the end of September. I keep being told it will be repaired "today or tomorrow". The last I heard, it was being repaired "now". However, no one is here. The management here is horrendous. It is obvious why so many apartments are empty. They do not care about their tenants whatsoever. Attitudes, lies, blatant blowing people over."

"Worst run place I've ever lived at! The new property managers were horrible and didn't know how to manage anything! They evicted numerous people who had lived there for years on things they accused them of with NO evidence! I was at work when they accused me of being loud when I wasn't even there! A lot of drug use going on there but nothing done about it! I could smell it come through my air vents on the top floor but of course she didn't want to hear about it! I would definitely recommend other nicer townhomes and apartments with more space for the same price in Sheperdsville! And the friendliness highly exceeds what you'll get at Old Harbor! This place apparently had a bad reputation before I knew it around Sheperdsville. They were evicting people who had been there for years when I left. Definitely something not right about the whole situation! Go elsewhere people! Don't waste your time nor your money!"

"I lived at Old Harbor for 6 months. It was clean and I felt very safe. No issues ever. The staff, Savannah and Jeremy we're always reponsive and quick to my needs. Savannah was always kind, considerate and respectful when speaking. Even if she was not available when I called, she always called me back. The people that live there kept to themselves. Some were friendly others weren't but I would go back there in a minute if I needed to. Thank you Old Harbor Apartments for a great experience!!! I rate you a 10. (I received my full deposit back.)"

"If you move here don't expect to get your deposit back no matter how clean you leave the apartment. Make sure you make Judy do a final walk through. She asked me if I "minded" if we didn't do the walk through the day I left and I said ok knowing I had left the apartment spic and span. Whenever I received my deposit back, they charged for for damage that was not done, charged me for holes in the wall (I used the smallest nails possible), charged me for light bulbs that were not burned out, missing vertical slats that were not missing when I left, and carpet repair, which the carpet had been patched prior to my moving in there. Also said it took Barb 3 hrs to clean my refrigerator which is a total lie I had thoroughly cleaned everything! Then I was told I was lucky to get back some of my deposit because 3 other people were losing their entire deposit!!!!!!! They have a nice little racket going on at Old Harbor Apartments!!!"
