"It’s unfortunate how disgusting Thomas Glenn has become. When it first opened it was the place to live in Shepherdsville and kept perfectly clean and maintained - now it looks like Section 8. Since being sold and going through multiple sets of management it has rapidly gone down hill (despite rents being literally double what they used to be). The buildings are filthy. The entrances are filthy and trash is scattered about. The stairs are covered in bird thick piles of excrement from nests not being removed timely (up by the buildings not just the parking lots from the geese). The stairs shake and are unsturdy where the braces haven’t been tightened - post caps missing and broken. There’s piles of dog feces everywhere (so much for doggy dna). For the insane prices, and how cheap a pressure washer is, there is ZERO reason the property is in such a vile state of disrepair other than laziness and mismanagement. For the same price you might as well live in the brand new “luxury” apartments in Louisville."
"The Reserves of Thomas Glen is conveniently located by all the shopping and restaurants that you’ll ever need. It’s also only a couple of minutes to I-65. This was my first choice of apartments and my only choice. The nearby lake added to the beauty of the complex. You’ll find the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable."
"I am someone looking to move into Bullitt County. I dropped in to scope the place out along with others. The apartments themselves look fine, better than others in Shepherdsville and Mount Washington, but the pond attracted a HOARD of ducks and geese that crapped all over the parking lot. It was filthy. At my current place I walk laps around the parking lot, but here I would be taking a golf club to geese if they decided I wasn't welcome to walk laps around my own apartment complex because they were nesting. I wonder if they move out of the way of cars?"
"The Reserves of Thomas Glen is a great apartment complex to live in. It is quiet and management tries to keep it clean and presentable to current and future tenants. I've only contacted the maintenance crew once since moving in here a year and a half ago and within minutes of sending a work order, they came to my unit and fixed a couple of items that needed tending to. That's superior service! Come and check this place out and I'm sure you'll be glad that you did."
