"My experience at Tanglewood since August 2021 has been consistently tumultuous. From delayed move-in dates to an unfinished apartment upon arrival—complete with flooding and unresolved issues even to this day—the situation remains utterly unacceptable. The lack of a consistent manager, coupled with the abysmal performance under Shannon Coots’ leadership, has only exacerbated the problems. Despite reporting a neighbor’s unleashed dog that bit me to the front office, there has been no follow-up from Shannon or her manager, Amber, as previously promised. Instead of addressing critical safety concerns, Shannon chose to tow my partner’s car on a Friday due to expired tags, while another abandoned car with a flat tire and a towing sticker has languished in the parking lot for months. This predatory behavior led to unnecessary holding fees over the weekend. Rent increases have not translated into improvements in the living conditions or the complex’s upkeep. Until a competent manager is hired, I strongly discourage anyone from considering this place. The only redeeming aspects are the maintenance staff and Sharon, the officer manager. The convenience of having a place to live is the sole reason we’re still here, but we’re seriously contemplating breaking our lease due to the ongoing mistreatment. In July, our apartment flooded while we were away. Although maintenance addressed it that evening, they left a mess behind, including a hole in the wall, and for weeks afterward, the unit remained in disarray. It wasn’t until December that our carpet was finally cleaned. It’s critical to note that Tanglewood is in violation of ADA requirements. Units lack essential accessibility features such as ramps to the front office and laundry facility. The sidewalks’ inadequate egress and the absence of ramps near handicap parking spots for units in buildings 11, 12, and 13 further highlight their disregard for accessibility standards."

"Have been renting here for three years. Only living here part time. It is a nice no-frills community. Management can be slow to respond sometimes, but in the end they always do."

"Before they reply to my comment and say they never had a Melissa Williams live here I will say obviously I am not going to use my real name and risk further retaliation to my already horrific experience of living at tanglewood. I will say I had to laugh when you all requested us to leave a review after how many dissatisfied residents there are here. Quite the ballsy move. Did you think you'd get good reviews after you finally added a washer and dryers as if that makes up for the absurd amount of time without for 280 apartment units. It doesn't matter how good you think you are as property management when you treat people disrespectfully and insult their intelligence. Shame on you. People tend not to forget that mistreatment. It's not worth my time to go into all the other atrocities and living hell of these apartments."

"Had it up to here! One Dryer for an ENTIRE COMPLEX is beyond ridiculous. Then they had the GALL to raise the laundry prices to 3.00 but we only have ONE DRYER WORKING in the laundry room! Total unacceptable and I will be leaving when my lease is up. I pay almost 1000.00 to live here and this is outrageous!"

"Been living here for two years and I do love it here quiet for the most part but my unit does have washer dryer hook up and they have there own laundry room area with 6 washers and 6 dryers but only 3 out of 6 washers work and 2 out of 6 dryers work. They up the price to use the washer/dryer but it doesn’t work something here is always breaking after being fixed. I pay almost $1000 a month and I can’t even wash my own clothes cause only 5 out of 12 washer/dryers work"
