"Love this shop. A friend told me about it and took me there . This shop has Mid Century items that are hard to find. The owners must go to every estate sale in every city , everywhere, as they have an awesome inventory. This shop reminds me of the fun shops in Palm Springs CA. The prices are not Palm Springs prices , they are reasonable and fair. If you want something , they try to be reasonable to move inventory out to get more items in. This makes you want to go by there and check out what is new before it is gone. I will for sure be visiting here often . Super nice guys that own it , with great taste, and good customer service . This little store is a hidden gem for MCM and one of a kind finds I got this cool picture that worked great over my fireplace."
"Love this place. Everything about it makes me think of MCM heaven. Karl is incredible, he makes the magic happen. Truly a wonderful place to visit"
"I mean, what can I say? Every single time my partner and I pop in, they have the most gorgeous and eclectic selection of MCM furniture, accessories, and decor. We stopped by recently, just thinking we’d browse…and we ended up purchasing a beautiful MCM cabinet/credenza/display shelf. I’d been on the hunt for something to house and display my Van Briggle pottery collection, and this more than fit the bill. The owners are such friendly and helpful guys, and they made the process so easy for us—including helping us orchestrate delivery. As far as I’m concerned, you can’t find a more gorgeous array of MCM home furnishings anywhere else in the Metroplex. How lucky that we have them here in Fort Worth. You better believe we’ll be back again and again."
"Atomic Then & Now ~ Mid-century finds for atomic living and beyond Atomic is a very fitting name! Before we could even get inside, we were already eyeing the metal patio sets and chairs just outside the door. Austin, one of the owners, welcomed us in with a big smile and a warm welcome. We spent a long time talking with him about the growth and recent changes in River Oaks as he’s a local. He could not have been nicer and he was kind enough to lend an ear to my aunt who’s a real talker lol! He’s just a stand up guy who was excited to be there and who easily earned five stars alone for helping ladies to their vehicles with their heavy purchases… no soy-boys here! Pros: Located along the main strip in the heart of River Oaks, this funky, eclectic and Mid-century modern themed resell shop is full of quirky vintage to antique pieces that will send you back in time! Expect to find everything nostalgic from rain lamps to macrame plant holders to vintage lucite ice boxes, fun cocktail ware - even a freestanding bar. Glass decanters, chunky ashtrays, leather jackets, fur coats, vintage suitcases, magazine racks, nesting tables, furniture, glassware, lights, lamps, chandeliers, rugs, trinkets, jewelry, clocks and old and new artwork featuring local artists (my favorite part!) Atomic offers some consignment, so ask the owners if you have some vintage pieces you’re looking to sell. They often host special events and just had a meet and greet with the local artists who’s work is on display inside, so check their Facebook account or call ahead to see what’s going on next. We spent the entire time ohhhing and ahhing over pieces we remembered from our childhoods at our parents and grandparents homes. Be sure to check out the awesome glass fishbowl filled with old matchbooks when you check out - a dream for match collectors! It’s basically everything nostalgic that you didn’t know you needed with a mix of modern local art. Cons: I honestly can’t think of a single thing to complain about! It’s a wonderful addition to little River Oaks, Texas."
