"Me and my husband moved in when I was pregnant with my first son, and at first they buttered the whole experience up and made it seem as if they wanted what was best for the tenants when in fact that is not the truth at all! They are very unprofessional and do not care about what is best for the tenants or their employees. The first apartment we lived in we lived there in the peak of the summer, it was really warm during the day and hot at night. We lived on the third story and everyone knows heat rises, our air was out for a week and it stayed so hot in our apartment we could barely breathe. The work order that was put in for our air was completely ignored for a week straight, until my husband finally said something to the supervisor and he finally fixed it. We lived there for almost a year, and we switched to a ground floor apartment which was absolutely atrocious! You could hear all the neighbors coming and going down the stairs at all hours of the night they were never generous with their steps! And we had less than savory upstairs neighbors who would constantly stomp from 9pm until 12-1am and you could hear them when they went to the bathroom every-time they went. We made several noise complaints and the property manager told us that there was nothing she could do about the situation bc she feared being sued over the fair housing act and over racism threats when the male living above us was not on the lease! We had mold growing in our laundry room where the duct for the air conditioning unit was, in which our breaker box was also in that room, the seals on the bathroom fell off, the floor was unevenly laid, there were bumps in the hardwood from were the floor contractor had laid the flooring over top of something and just left it. The doors were uneven and never stayed open you had to prop them open or they would swing shut. They charged you for trash pickup in which the trash pickup person would only pick your trash up when he chose to and he was never there at the same time every night so you never knew when to set the trash out, even though they fined you for setting your trash out before a certain time! The property manager and assistant property manager are best friends and they are super unprofessional! they do not care about your personal life if it interferes with their interests! My husband worked maintenance the entire time we lived there and he was ran like a dog and treated very poorly! The property manager took all of her frustration and overwhelming emotions out on him! Not to mention when they found out I was pregnant with my twins they told me that I should abort my babies because there was no way we could afford to raise them and a 7 month old at the same time! Then turned around and my grandfather passed away, and the property manager asked my husband if he would be attending the funeral and when he said he would be she told him that my grandfather died at a “very inconvenient time for her and the company!” They also gossip about all of the tenants some before they even make it out of the office but most as soon as they hear the door close. They make very inappropriate comments about and to there male tenants even though the property manager is married. they also make inappropriate comments to their staff even though their staff are all in very serious relationships and married! All and all I seriously would not recommend anyone to rent from these overpriced under built apartments. They do not fix things they way they should they look for the cheapest way to fix anything! The new maintenance supervisor is amazing, and has even had to buy tools out of pocket to do routine maintenance, and he is probably the only good thing about the whole experience. In all seriousness, if you want to live where you’re voice isn’t heard, your problems are overlooked, you are charged for ridiculous fees, no parking with the possibility of being towed, the trash is piled up from wall to wall by the dumpster area, and you are not respected be my guest. 10/10 do not recommend"
"This apartment was OK. I love the location, it’s quiet at night. The first year living here was good. It was very nice and spacious. We were very comfortable. They always bring great food trucks. We had some AC issues along the way. Maintenance was really good not always thorough, but they was quick. I didn’t have an issue with parking, I don’t know if it was because my apartment was in the back or what. The one thing that really makes me not like this apartment is the way it carries sound. I lived on the second floor, so we heard every step going up and down from morning to night everyday. The steps are made of wood, so you hear everything. If you have neighbors upstairs, with heavy feet you will hear every step they make. I feel like valet trash should also be available on the weekends since we pay for it. If we’re also being honest here, the amenities aren’t that great here. The gym is the worst part, they pretty much took an old office and shoved three pieces of equipment in there and one kettle ball and called it a gym. Three people couldn’t even work out comfortably in there. Also, I think one of the machines is still broke and has been broke for months. The pool is really small if six people get in there it’s a bath at that point. With them having 1, 2, or 3 bedroom apartments, you think the pool would be bigger. Moral of the story you’re paying for the location."
"I have been at the community since May and cannot say enough nice things about it. The maintenance staff work super hard across the 3 different properties to make sure that the grounds are always kept in great condition. When we got the unprecidented 9 inches of snow last week, the 2 maintenance guys worked tirelessly around the clock to remove snow and provide residents with a path to the parking area. My maintenance requests are always addressed within 24 hours and the guys are very polite each time. The office staff are amazing! Jaime, Aaron, and Mercedes are very helpful and take the time to answer all my questions. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and I just love how they have fun things for the residents - last month was a hot cocoa bar and light decorating contest! They definitely make me feel welcome! The area is very convenient to grocery stores, resturants, and other shopping. I can get to campus/downtown within 15 minutes. I never have an issues with noise or finding a parking space here. If you are looking for a community that feels like home, this is the place!"
"I have lived in many rentals in Lexington the past 20 years or so, and this property is definitely one of the best! The property is quiet, well maintained throughout and I actually have neighbors who I don’t avoid talking to in passing. Just a very friendly, safe community. The maintenance staff (Keith & Philip) are AWESOME! They go above and beyond and any maintenance request I have put in is done very quickly. The leasing office staff (Jaime, Aaron and Mercedes) are easy to get ahold of and communicate very well with any questions I have. I had to move during the height of the pandemic and wasn’t able to tour an actual apartment (was sent a video tour), and Jaime was great about answering any questions I had (which was a lot!) and making the transition to my new place super easy. I have a 3 BR/2bath and it is HUGE! You get a lot of space for a great price. It’s a newer property with all new everything, so I haven’t experienced any issues with appliances not working, HVAC going out etc. I also don’t hear any of my neighbors through the walls playing loud music, partying etc like I have at other places I’ve lived. My overall experience since moving here has been great, and I highly recommend checking this place out!"
"I have really enjoyed living here so far! The apartments are really nice inside and out. When I moved in the apartment was spotless. The grounds are also very nice, great for walking dogs! The office staff have been great and were extremely helpful in processing my application and getting me moved in very quickly. The maintenance staff are also wonderful, and have responded to my requests right away. I would highly recommend checking this place out during hour apartment search."
