Colt's Crossing Apartments

"I ended up here more of lack of time considering I couldn't find a place available when I needed. But I don't think I'll renew when the time comes. The appliances are older, the mandatory cable is I think dumb considering I can get streaming services that has everything cable does and cheaper. The grounds are getting ridiculous with residents not picking up after their pets and the complex only action is to threaten a fine if they get caught. Which is unlikely given not many people hangout on their patios and that still doesn't help clean up what's already been left all over the place."

"The complex and apartments are full of mold from the windows leaking. Tubs are full of mold. Ceilings above tubs are peeling. Entire entry way inside the complex was beat up and was not fixed the entire year I lived there. The window on the second level of the complex leaked so bad the carpets were soaked and the entire place smelled like mold. Walls are super thin. The windows in the apartments leak severely as well. Dog poop everywhere and dog park fences are broken and unsafe metal statues are inside the dog park that my dog got hurt on. The tiles on the bathroom floors continuously come off the floor and are cracked. My dishwasher had mold in it when I moved in and the maintenance guys threw the old one out the back porch and dropped it on the lady below mines porch who has small kids. Could have killed someone. The ENTIRE complex smelled like cat urine severely. To the point it was embarrassing to have people over. I mean right outside the complex smelled like animal urine so bad it was hard to breathe. Every person I had over mentioned it. Completely embarrassing. I moved out and they kept my deposit because they claimed I didn’t have renters insurance and had leftover rent but couldn’t provide documentation proving either statements. However, I could provide documentation proving I had insurance the entire time and send them the emails that were sent to them containing the information, and had paid rent with no leftover rent, so my calls were no longer taken. The office is so lazy they do not respond to my emails or calls, so it comes to a point I have to go to corporate? Please learn how to do your job. Please DO NOT rent here unless you want to get sick from mold and lose your money. Pictures provided of water and mold."

"Colts Crossing is a wonderful place to live! The apartments are clean and modern, and the leasing office is outstanding. Shantel, especially, is so wonderful and made living here a treat! Im so sad to move out since I'm leaving the state, otherwise I happily would have stayed!"

"Avoid this place anyway you possibly can!!! Lived here 3 years and they keep trying to charge me extra anytime they can. Anytime I call they don’t answer or they seem uninterested in what I have to say. Also they charge a $50 convenience fee to pay the rent online, even though they made it to where that the only way you can actually pay now. No checks or money orders allowed. As far as the apartment itself, the floors are bad, mold everywhere, hard to get stuff fixed."

"Easily worst apartment I’ve rented paid 1,200 a month for tiny 2 bed 1 bath with black mold all over bathroom an in dishwasher!!! That’s only the beginning of the list…. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!"
