"We are so lucky to have such a wonderful program in our city. It's so nice to be able to spend a summer night in the park watching Shakespeare (for free)."
"One of my FAVORITES for live theatre in the Louisville KY area. KY Shakespeare has been around for 60 plus seasons and is the longest running free Shakespeare companies in the country. The production season combined with student education, the travelling parks program and the Kentucky Correctional program reaches more people providing true Shakespeare exposure to more demographics than the regular season does at the Central Park location. There's nothing better than a summer under the stars with live Shakespeare. The professional company, staff and administration bring you this annual experience in a way that some might never have this chance. RUN, don't walk."
"Always an amazing and fun experience. Family and dog friendly and doesn't cost a penny unless you want food and beverages. They always have great food truck options and Central Park is a great place to throw a blanket on the grass and watch or take a seat at the stage."
"Great atmospheric outdoors with good quality of breathing air to enjoy the plays on the open stage, quite a view. You should come and see what I mean."
"My partner and I saw a show on a muggy summer’s evening. The acting was very impressive, but the heat made it pretty unbearable to sit there for 2.5 hours, and it didn’t help that I could barely understand what the actors were saying (partly because I can’t understand Shakespeare, partly because the microphones were not very loud)."
