"Everything was great till I was being excluded from my kids well being, went on for few months. One that is in the turtles class and another in the sunshines. I'm not sure if it's because i was a father or that their mother works at the center. I've spoken to a supervisor and she was as lost as I was on the topic. Great education and great child care center. Just need to let the teachers know the importance of BOTH parents being informed on what's going on with their kids. The kids were living in 2 separate households which is why it's important in case anyone else is in the same position."
"Ms. Erica sand Ms. Ernestine are phenomenal. We love the Zebras class!"
"The most wonderful school and community!"
"We had three kids go through the San Jacinto location. We went to another Austin-based center before arriving at UTCDC. We also went to another center after our three years at UTCDC. I can say that we enjoyed (and our kids enjoyed) UTCDC much better than anywhere else. Paula Barton (manager at San Jacinto location) is a calm and competent leader whom I always felt comfortable speaking with (and she's very accessible). We did experience teacher turn over, but the center does a lot to minimize that impact on the kids. My kids loved the food there...it's almost all handmade, not from a box, which is really important. I got involved in a few areas of the center, and I hope other parents do too, as it really allows you to connect even more. Bottom line: It's the cheapest and best you'll find in ATX. Take advantage!"
"Yeah ok"
