"Child’s Day is a great and special school for many reasons but the top two are: - LOW ratios of 1:3 to 1:6, which is unheard of, with well-trained and happy teachers, and - family owned and operated for literally decades. My kids were in an infant class and a threes class, and both far exceeded expectations. The parent involvement is impressive and makes for a better school. Most families I speak to stay here until their kiddo goes to Kindergarten. I previously chose a newer-built school (rhymes with bidemost) and we had a rollercoaster experience - tons of turnover from the very top and all the way down, high ratios of 1:12, neglected maintenance of fire alarm system which caused trauma and setbacks for my kid’s potty training, I could go on. That was THERE. At Child’s Day, the teachers and owners take a personalized, hands-on, collaborative and logical approach. And they genuinely seem to love it. Can’t say enough good things!! In a world where every school is actually a business (Womp womp), this place is as pure as they come"
"Our experience at Child's Day has been absolutely fantastic. We all adore our son's teachers, Ms. Cne', Ms. Lexi, and Ms. Sarah. It is evident that our son's teachers are well-trained and incredibly compassionate. Not only do we love his classroom teachers, but we interact with other teachers and staff often and everyone has been so kind and caring. We are beyond grateful for the experience we have at Child's Day. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking for childcare for their kiddos."
"Our son has attended Child’s Day since he was 14 weeks old (he is nearly 2 years old now). I am, admittedly, a Type A person and I am very cautious when it comes to those taking care of my children. Child’s Day is fantastic in so many ways. The teachers are highly trained and loving people. The environment is safe and play-focused, with thoughtful reasoning behind learning activities. The parent community is also so engaged. We are so happy our son attends Child’s Day and our new baby will be going there in the fall!"
"As an early childhood educator with a masters in early childhood education, you can imagine how picky I was when choosing a daycare and preschool for my son. Child’s Day has exceeded my expectations time and time again. I’ve learned strategies from the teachers and have felt very supported in navigating the murky waters of parenting young children! Moreover, I’ve been welcomed into a diverse and warm community of parents! I am continually impressed by the curriculum, relationships between teachers and children, ongoing communication with parents and collegiality between staff. If you are looking for a truly child-centered program that also supports working families, Child’s Day is the place for you."
"I can't say enough about the dedicated teachers and the educational play-based curriculum at Child's Day. Our son is constantly learning, engaged, and has so much fun. The school and teachers also provide parents with great individualized feedback: weekly reports on what and how our child is doing, classroom updates and pictures, and even parent education handouts. The school attracts a wonderful parent community, and no school has better hours for families with working parents."
