La Petite Academy on Beech Trail Drive

"I do not recommend. Management is horrible, it is chaotic and dirty. My kid was constantly sick while going there. the teachers are clearly overwhelmed with classes at the max number and you can tell when you walk in the classes with them. turnover rate is so bad they are understaffed most days and management is just sitting in the office while the teahers are struggling."

"I love La Petite Beech Trail!! The staff are so good with the kids, my little one in the toddler room loved his teacher. Management is so helpful and kind with the kids with any problem. Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Pat, Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Amy are so amazing. You feel the happiness from the second Lorraine greets you at the door. The kids are always smiling and laughing. I love that you get updates on the app and you can tune in to the cameras to see the activities they’re doing. So sad I had to move and leave! If it wasn’t for moving out of town of would’ve keep my baby there until they started school!"

"If I could give this place negative stars I would, I had my children enrolled in their summer program, every day I went to drop them off and pick them up it was so loud and chaotic every room you walked past was dirty and kids crying the teachers seemed to lack compassion when it comes to kids crying. They DO NOT follow a school curriculum like Lorraine mentioned when we initially went to take a tour. She also had the entire summer camp kids write up to 21 sentences (my daughter is 7) "I will behave" because the other teacher could not handle the class there's no structure, they let the kids do whatever they want all day then get upset at the children. This place needs to be shut down."

"I had my son enrolled in this daycare since April 2020. I pulled him out July 2023 and transferred him to another location because the quality care at this location has gone down significantly. They have lost my son’s blankets, sheets and extra clothes on different occasions. When they are missing I am always told “the kids were taking everything out the cubbies today” or “I’ll have to ask the other teacher because I haven’t been here all day”. They are using the children’s diapers as a community pull. There has been multiple times where my son has came home with another child’s diaper even though their names are on it. They do not watch the children closely. We have had MULTIPLE incidents where I have noticed bumps and scratches on my son with no explanation. The assistant director has even told me “he must have taken it like a big boy because the teachers didn’t notice anything and he wasn’t crying”. If an incident was reported, we were not notified until days later. We had an incident where he was bitten on his back on a Tuesday and we got an accident report on a Thursday. They had multiple emergency pick ups because of the AC going out. We have talked to the directors and corporate about our concerns, but we had not seen an improvement."

"Teachers don't even try to comfort the crying kids. I'm not saying they should teach them the whole day the kids are there but if they could interact with them for 3 hours out of their shift that would be beneficial for the children as well. Even with cameras they do not seem to take care of the children as best as they could. I feel the La Petite on Beech Trail is extremely understaffed and they need more help. If they are going to charge their clients $300 a week they should at least make an effort to provide a decent service."
