"My youngest child went here for a short period of time due to the lack of care and blatant neglect from employee Ms. Bailey. His first week there he was sent home completely soaking wet from not being changed from his pull up. Day one I thought it was because they were outside for longer than normal. Day two dad picked him up and headed straight home after making the comment for "it looks like he has been sitting in water" to myself and the employee in charge of him. It was clear that the child needed to be changed much earlier by staff. Day three first time I was meeting the daytime teacher Ms Bailey since enrollment as she is usually gone by the time I arrive for pick up (shortly after 5pm). She yelled and berated myself and my child for him not being fully potty trained in front of other staff members and children which was heard from the parking area. Mind you this is a three year old who just transferred daycares regression is typical and expected. She blatantly refused to change his pull up at anytime and clearly stated that she would not be following the Texas minimum regulations. I emailed later that afternoon regarding the incident including listing the regulations she refused to follow which fall under as abuse and had to send a follow up email as my first one had no response from the director. The assistant director called the night of and apologized for Ms. Bailey's yelling. However, did not terminate her or keep her away from children as she is required to by law for the protection of the children. Luckily I recorded the call and provided it to the state whom I reported the issues to at least with my child as I am sure there was more. I would like to add this location is always hiring. I myself put in an online application. However, after the third day of my child attending the same day I sent it in I withdrew it as I am a professional and will not set myself up for failure in a toxic and unsafe environment nor will I be linked to a daycare or care facility which provides toxic and unsafe environment for the children in their care. I would avoid this place at all cost as potential employee and parent of a child."
"My kids have been here almost a year now, it has been a great experience. I feel as the teachers really care about our children. My oldest son has never came home complaining about any teachers. In fact he is always excited to go to daycare. And as for my 18m old he almost never has an issue going into the arms of these caretakers, unless he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Both of my kids have learned Spanish in a English speaking home."
"Poor values. The diapers you provide for your child are not only not for you child but they’re used for EVERY other child there. The teachers are not bilingual even thought they claim to be. Matter of fact they are not teachers at all; they hire kids. Never bringing my daughter back again. H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Thieves and liars . Lorena is the owner but runs the business ghetto where regulations and CPS rules don’t exist. Daughter came home with scraps by supposedly falling on the sidewalk from lack of supervision. They did not report to CPS but I as a parent will."
"I absolutely love every part of this daycare. Every day, I feel like I drop my girls off with a close family relative and I know they are taken care of with all the care in the world. They are kind, always open to listen, and my girls have learned so much through play, outside experiences and the bilingual atmosphere. I couldn't have imagined my girls being anywhere else! Even when they move to elementary school, we look forward to enrolling them in summer camp for all the new activities they can be apart of!"
"My son attended kidus for a little under a year. We were excited about the bilingual aspect. This was a bit misleading. Most teachers were not bilingual and only spoke one language. This caused poor communication between the teachers and the parents that did not speak Spanish. A translator was needed. We loved his time in the infant room. His teachers were very loving and took great care to make sure he was clean and given plenty of TLC. That being said, the teachers were not consistent. While we were there at least four teachers left. We were excited when he moved up to the young toddler room. We looked forward to activities and a curriculum. This did not happen. He was never consistently in the same room, with the same teacher and they stopped providing daily take home sheets. We called and asked in person to please receive the sheets. We wanted to know what his eating and sleeping habits were. We were told sheets were hard to keep track of because they got lost or misplaced when the children switched teachers. We were also told that different classrooms had different sheets and they weren't always provided. It was bizarre and honestly felt like sorry excuses. The meals were repetitive and didnt include a lot of vegetables or protein. In conclusion the baby room was great but anything other than that was disorganized and the communication was non existent. The owner was rude and dismissive until we made the decision to pull our child. They offered discounted care and promised to fix the issues. It was too late at this point."
