"This early headstart has been amazing to my son ! After taking him out of stafford for just the one day he went (horrible experience for him there) we enrolled him into Cardenas & everything for my son changed for the better. It was a welcoming environment, ms Rodriguez his teacher is wonderful with him. And all the teachers and staff know how to welcome every kid. I thank God for this school , it’s given my son a wonderful school experience"
"This has to be one of the worst Headstart school I have ever encountered. Considering the fact that only Headstart kids go here the drop off pick up system is horrible. They want parents to park half mile around building to drop off one kid and pick up one kid. While the other kids wait in car. They want you take all kids off . Their coming ma’am you can’t leave your kid in car it’s unsafe. Well, when the principal tells you it’s unsafe to leave your kid in a locked car with ac while drop off the other one maybe they should look into hiring more security since she’s so worried that within the 7/8 min walk from is unsafe. Then we have the gym coach directing traffic oh don’t park here don’t park here but only when he chooses if he knows that Person He’ll let it go but if not he starts to harass you and talking about you want a ticket or he’ll start hollering for the principal Mrs Mrs …. Sounds like a kid throwing a fit. Needless to say they need to revamp their whole drop off pick up system. They need realize parents work and are not going to get all their kids off a vehicle to drop one kid off. Not to mention their communication is horrible you’ll be repeating yourself to every person you talk to oh well I didn’t know that I’m sorry I had no idea ok. Worst school in Eastwood rethink about enrolling your child here."
