"First off the bedding was basically 2 sheets. , so bring your own comforter if you plan to stay here , the Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect to our devices either … And also make sure your checked out right before 11 because they will ring the phone at 11 on the dot to ask if your planning on staying another night , and I get checking out on time but there should be a grace Period we was gathering our things with 3 children also to walk out and the phone rings at 11 on the dot to ask us if we’re planning on staying another night , I told Her no mam we’re about to walk out the door just gathering our things. When we stepped out the door she was standing there waiting and took our key and went right on in that room we walked out of. I think that’s very rude and bad customer service , definitely doesn’t make me or my family want to come back to this place again !"
"My husband and I stayed at The Old Bardstown Inn one night while traveling from West Virginia to the Natchez Trace to Tupelo, Mississippi. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy, far exceeding our expectations for the price, which was more than reasonable. We were also very impressed with her beautiful flowers planted by the pool area. The owner was so sweet and I enjoyed our great conversation. It is just off the interstate and it’s just a two-minute drive from downtown. You could conceivably walk to the very groovy little downtown for a bourbon tasting in ten minutes but I recommend the quite affordable taxis if drinking. We will definitely stay there again when passing through the area. Dawn & Erik"
"Hands down the dirtiest place we have ever stayed in. Upon check-in, our bathroom had enough pubic hair on the floor to knit a sweater, and there was rotten food left in the fridge from the people before us. We were harassed daily about having clean towels and toilet paper. So if you stay here, bring your own towels and TP or you will be made to feel like a complete a$$hole for wanting the most basic of amenities. Plus side is that there is a laundry mat directly across the street so you can wash your own towels. The pool doesn’t open until noon, and closes at 9pm, so no this place is not family friendly. There are no screens on the room windows and the AC barely works - your room will be damp from the humidity your entire stay. There is no breakfast like their website claims. Also, not the biggest deal, but this motel is also a flophouse. Room 125 was filled with suspicious activities our entire stay - multiple men in and out of the room all day/night long (let your imagination run with that). Just keep that in mind if you’re staying here with children. The only positive I have from this place is that the older woman is friendly, but the male workers are awful towards female guests."
"Just a place to lay your head. Our room was clean and liked it had 3 locks on door. Comforter was like a sheet. Toilet handle broke, so had to pull top to flush. No wifi. Cereal and yogurt for breakfast. Pillows less than desirable. Beds super firm."
"Nice newly renovated rooms (as of fall 2022), comfortable beds, clean. Great value. Accommodating, hospitable, staff. I am a picky sleeper and this room checked most of my boxes. It had a an AC unit capable of consistent noise. Was not loud. The curtains could have worked a little better to keep the light out, it was hard to adjust them to not have a crack of light peeking through the middle. Would stay again"
