"It seems that Dr Amber Savells is add it again. When I was pregnant, she informed me that I had a cyst on my right ovary and gave me medical advice that drinking lots of water would help to get rid of the cyst few months go by and my symptoms start to worsen while I’m visiting my family. I go to the emergency room because I can’t take the pain anymore. My cycle is extremely heavy with blood clots the size of quarters 14 day long periods! I’ve got fever chills I was throwing up ! I go to the emergency room and they informed me that I have a dermoid cyst which needs to be surgically removed this is the second time I’ve had problems with this woman who is still affecting me years later after I was treated by her ! Her customer service was so bad it sticks with me even now ! And now I missed diagnosis ….. I could only imagine the other women who are being so heavily impacted because they were properly treated by her"
"I had an appointment at this office today for a yearly exam, I have been a patient here for well over 10 years. It had been booked since January. I wasn’t notified that they are no longer accepting certain insurances until I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. I’ve had no changes to my insurance and they were made aware of this by my chart. I was then told that I could not be seen even if I paid out of pocket at the time. Reception had advised me that this went into action several months ago. In no way shape or form did the office try to contact me to inform me of their changes and instead chose to waste not only my time, but theirs, and any other patient that could’ve been booked in my slot instead. Horrible business ethic and I hope they will change their protocol about informing patients of changes AHEAD of time."
"I seen Kathryn Williamson which is fantastic , if this review was just for her it would be 5 star but sadly bc of the office she works in I will never be back.! I run 2 businesses and respectful of peoples time as I know how valuable my own is. I had an appt at 9:30 my morning appointments ran behind as I’m certain this office should relate to as I have to clear out 3 hours out of a work day to have the appointment. I called and let them know about 30 min I was on my way as I was driving to my appointment but my eta showed I would be aboit 10-15 min late. My appointment was at 9:30 walked in at 9:44 waited in line to be registeded and was told I would have to reschedule. Explained I had called ahead and walked in right on time. She went back and asked some manager I guess if I could keep my appointment. Nope you must reschedule. I will not reschedule EVER another appointment with ANY Baptist health location now out of principle. You have NO value of MY TIME and you will receive no further support, or recommendations that I have provided. I could not be more disappointed in an office. I’m now looking for a new OBGYN and general Physician not related with Baptist Health."
"First and foremost, never expect them to answer your phone calls! I went to the ER last Saturday for light spotting at 7 weeks pregnant. The staff is amazing but it took 5 hours to determine that my baby was healthy and had a heartbeat. The discharge papers told me to follow up 48 hours later. I tested positive with COVID (which was a huge surprise because I did not have symptoms and still don’t). The nurse asked me before leaving if I had an appointment coming up. I responded yes as I was supposed to have an appointment Wednesday (two days ago). My boyfriend works in the union and he called off work that day to attend the appointment with me, which was supposed to be at 9:30 that morning. Not even an hour before the appointment I was alerted with a notification that my appointment was cancelled. We went anyway thinking it might’ve been a mistake. Wrong! They told me since I had COVID they cancelled my appointment. Which is perfectly fine, but they had that Monday and Tuesday to cancel my appointment, it’s completely unprofessional to cancel the day of, not even an hour before. I was aggravated because my boyfriend had already taken the day off for this appointment. If my having COVID was an issue I thought the nurse would’ve told me when I went to the ER that I couldn’t go to my appointment if I had COVID. Instead when I told her I had an appointment that Wednesday she replied, “Perfect!”. I’ve been trying to reschedule since and no one has been answering the phones and they rescheduled my appointment without even contacting me on a day that I have work. I still don’t have an appointment set up. The only reason I have to go to this hospital is because my boyfriend wants our baby to be born at the same hospital he was. They need to do something with their scheduling department!"
"They were the worst! I have infertility problems and I came to them for help. It was great at first but when the medicine wasnt working they stopped helping me. I was told NOT to call them, that they will call me to set up an appointment for an IUI, it has been months and no call. Im very disappointed in them, do not rely on them for infertility."
