"I came today with my friend who needed some medical attention immediately and we are waiting for test results and waiting for more test to be run. Staff has been very pleasant room is a little uncapped, but mostly just stuff on the floor."
"I spent several days at Lourdes on the 4th floor room 431. My team of nurses and their assistants were top notch and constantly working to make me comfortable. I'm terrible with names but Mary, my night nurse was awesome. I also want to mention a flobotomist named Kesha. One night I missed a dinner and I was talking to Kesha about it as she was drawing my blood. She offered me half her lunch so I wouldn't go to bed hungry. If thats not above and beyond than i dont know what is. Her kindness brought tears to my eyes and lifted my spirit during that difficult time. Thank you to everyone that cared for me and for being the angels you are."
"Let me start that I am giving 1 star for the hospital and how it is run. I give 5 stars to the Nurses, Aides and some Doctors. My 1 star goes for the way the hospital is run. Housekeeping hasn't been in my parents room in a week. The nurses take the trash out. Because my parent is COVID+, dietary isn't allowed to come ask what he would like to eat, so they just send whatever they want to feed him (there has been so much wasted food). The order for PT was ignored for days until we pushed for it. If I could give -stars I would as they will still charge Medicare, his secondary insurance and/or VA insurance (which ever they decide to) the same amount as if he was getting everything that non-COVID patients are getting. It's great that Mercy is getting a new specialty building (the cancer center), but if you don't keep ontop of the other aspects of your business, it's all a waste of money."
"Dirty room there was blood on the curtain a huge round stain and blood all over the wall by the trash can from previous patient and nurses throwing IV needles in the trash. Bathrooms were nasty. The nurses were just standing around chit chatting and never came in to introduce themselves. One of the younger nurses even yelled something about “ketamine in yo mf neck” that was wearing light blue scrubs joking around with another nurse. We waited 6 hours just to be sent home “to keep an eye on it,” we were there 12/21/23 rm 6."
