"I have been treated more than fairly with all aspects at the Paducah CBOC. Everyone has been professional, some go out of their way more so others. Only one ER doc in Gainsville, Florida was disrepectful. But maybe he was having an off day. It happens. I'm a firm believer, "you give respect, you get respect". Ive seen many a service member, in VAs all across the US, view themselves entitled. The 4 stars, instead of 5, is because they seem short staffed. Which is not a slight to those who do work there. Keep up the good work, Mary and Lisa, I appreciate it"
"I have called numerous times to try and schedule a appointment with this place and not once have I ever receive a phone call back nor do I get an appointment schedule. The VA is suppose to be for our troops but yet they are basically useless when it comes to actually trying to take care of us. Never in my life will I is the VA as any form of primary care. Waste of Time."
"They'll send you emails at 3 a.m. in the morning reminding you of your appointment but when it comes time for your appointment do they ever pick up the video chat line or the phone never .Call that service shame on them. I'm done with using any primary doctor there I know that if I ever really need something just go straight to the emergency room if you ever need anything done."
"Support staff is superb. MOST of the physicians are outstanding, except for LAKE ROSS, who is totally incompetent and useless. Endangers veterans' lives and health by being too lazy to refill essential medications (he once neglected to reorder some of mine for nearly 4 months- finally got them after I filed official complants.) IF YOU GET ASSIGNED TO ROSS, DEMAND ANOTHER PHYSICIAN FOR PRIMARY CARE! Some GREAT ones there are Mark Irvin, Patrick Burba, and a few others. BUT AVOID ROSS LIKE THE PLAGUE! I am a multiply wounded, highly decorated retired senior officer of the US Army. Ross once physically assaulted me in the clinic when I called him out on his incompetence. BEWARE LAKE ROSS!"
"They always answer the phone in a timely manner. Love my PCP, he listens, answers my questions, and I don't feel like just another number there."
