"Excellent Place to get or stay healthy! Staff here is excellent. Facility is clean and equipment is kept in good repair. Plenty of Weight machines and aerobic equipment. ShaoLin Martial arts and Tai Chi programs and Pilates are outstanding. Great Place!"

"My friend has a membership here, I told him that I wanted to become a member and that I wanted to see the inside. One day, when we were going to pick up his child together, I witnessed the staff inside shouting in an angry and high voice. When we suddenly entered, his facial expression immediately changed and he started smiling towards us. When I asked her name, she said Reka. These staff behave differently towards children and differently towards their parents. When we saw this situation, we felt uncomfortable and gave up being a member. People with such personalities should not be there, please be more careful when choosing personnel. That's why I prefer to go to Hamburg YMCA. Do not entrust your children here!!!!!!"

"We will never be coming back here. We have a 1 year old girl (16 months) and we used the childcare here for about a year. We had to switch to a different location because the Beaumont staff stopped letting her use her water bottle to calm down. The rules at every YMCA state children are allowed to bring water bottles into childcare. Our daughter uses her water bottle instead of a pacifier. It is how she self regulates, especially at daycare, Sunday school, or with babysitters. The staff told my wife last time we were there to switch to a pacifier. The last few weeks our daughter has been screaming and crying when we dropped her off and still when we picked her up. They’ve let her have her bottle some but made her sit in a high chair to use it. When we switched to the Hamburg location they said “of COURSE she can have her water!” and the transition was smooth. We will be staying at Hamburg instead of Beaumont simply because the childcare staff at Hamburg makes it a priority to address our daughters needs."
