"1 star is too much. I pulled through after work got my drinks an alternative they were out of mine and cigarettes, the guy ran my card and after paying he insisted the payment did not go through even though I get a transaction text on my phone and knew it had. He kept insisting on running my card again and 10 minutes or arguing I let him and was charged double. I insisted on a cash refund. I will never be back"
"I have lived here for several years. Beer Barn has not bothered me, even go there for most of my beer purchases. Not any more. Couple days ago they decided to have a concert in the drive thru part of their store. There are people who live in this area. These are our homes. What right does this place have to subject us to a concert we don't want to hear? I live 300' from the Beer Barn and could hear every single note the entire time. This is a noise violation and this should not have occurred in a residential area. I will never again shop at this place until there is a promise made by this store to respect the neighborhood and never again hold another concert in a residential area. Find a better venue then outside of other people's homes."
"Young female employee was very rude, unprofessional, and sleepy or high on something probably not legal. She gave us a dirty look when we drove up like we woke her up. She didn't seem to know her job (or care), such as how to scan lottery tickets and other basic convenient store tasks. At the end of the ordeal, she gave us incorrect change. Great place if you are too drunk to care about the service."
"I like the convenience of this place, but the selection is small - they didn't have any of several large-brand beers that I asked for when I went on the 4th of July. There also was a sign requiring masks for employees and customers to wear masks, as per the state permit, and the attendee that served me was not wearing a mask AND gave me 6 singles of a different beer (Shiner Light Blonde) instead of a 6 pack of regular Shiner. The Asian guy who I've been helped by before is very helpful, though. I love the idea of this place, and just wish service were more consistent and selection were better."
