Child First Urgent Care

"My son and I had our first visit here this afternoon, and this IS the place to take your little ones! Friendly from the front, to the back, everyone we came in contact with was so friendly. It’s a fun atmosphere featuring murals, toys, bright colors, and friendly faces. I will definitely be returning here, it was also super clean. Edit: wait time was super quick!"

"The nurse practitioner and nurse were very kind and compassion with both of my kids. Despite getting tested for covid, both kids said they wanted to go back (they usually hate doctors lol). Front desk could be a little more personable but she was nice enough. WouLd definitely make the drive to Lexington again, if needed."

"Our pediatrician recommended Child First on a Saturday, and we were so happy with our visit. The facility is so clean and fun- everything looks brand new! Further the staff and our doctor were so knowledgeable, quick in assessing but still very thorough, and really kind in answering all of our questions. Happy to know that this urgent care exists for kids and definitely recommend."

"We took our daughter here due to signs of strep throat. The office is lovely, very clean, and so kid friendly! We were the only ones in the waiting room so my daughter got to pick a movie while we waited/while I filled out the intake form. The wait was very short. Then they were so patient and kind about her severe anxiety regarding a strep swab- she was not a happy camper and was hiding behind a chair. Emily the nurse was very sweet and convinced her to come out to check her vitals. Then Shannon was great, developed a rapport with her to help ease her anxiety so she could examine her. She diagnosed her quickly and prescribed her medicine to get better. She gave good education on how to prevent strep re infection and prevent spread to siblings. At the end my daughter got a popsicle. Great experience. I hope we can stay healthy for a long while, but next time we need an urgent care, this is where we’ll come."

"We just got home from seeing the NP here and oh my goodness, I cannot say enough great things about it!! Yes, the building was clean, the paperwork was easy, but the staff - AMAZING!! My son was NOT an easy patient to have this evening, but the level of patience and kindness the nurse and NP both showed him was unmatched! They gave him the time he needed to voice his fears and advocate for his body - then took additional time to describe the testing procedures to help calm his nerves. I was seriously blown away. Thankful we have this little gem in our area!"
