"This is more for spectrum as a whole, but this isn't a great location either. I have yet to have a good experience at any Louisville Spectrum location. The employees don't seem to be all on the same page, you get conflicting information, and they seem to be more concerned about upgrading whatever package you have. Recently went in on 12/10 to cut cable and only keep the internet. Patrick there although nice, seemed to be more concerned with upgrading us and not listening to what we wanted to do with the service. He then told us that they didn't have any modems there at that location and blamed it on a rainstorm the day before. Anyway, we dropped off the cable boxes, changed our service, and took the old modem home. He said no rush to bring it back. Even said we didn't need to bring it back, that if we were happy with the speed then to keep the older modem with no issues. Well, when I called into spectrum on another matter two days later the girl on the phone in billing said I HAD TO EXCHANGE the old modem otherwise I was still going to be charged the full $235 a month for cable and internet even though I already gave in my 2 cable boxes and no longer had cable. She said the ticket was still opened with changing my service, so it hasn't been technically fully changed. Not sure which employee was correct with this, so I decided to bring back the older model modem. 12/17 I return to spectrum with the modem to switch it out, again an employee said they didn't have any and that they were getting more delivered the following day. With the holidays upon is I decided to wait till after Christmas to return. 12/26 returned for a third time to exchange the modem. After an hour wait the girl that called us was 0 help. She said she was unable to switch out the modems because the new one wasn't letting her scan it into the system. That they would mail one to us. (unacceptable) she then told us to wait for a more senior employee to help us, so we waited another few minutes for someone else to help us. He was able to help us, but then he gave me a number to call for activation when we got home and set up the modem and router (our router, not spectrums, said I had to give them a router number so the signal can hit the router), when I called that number, that number wasn't an in-service number, so he either wrote the number down wrong or that isn't a number they use anymore so I just called the customer service line. Another thing I don't like about this location is I notice that employees will drop what they are doing while helping a customer to go help another coworker with something which I don't think is too professional. I also wish there was a quick service line if that makes sense, some customers only need to be helped for less than 5 mins while others are with the same customer service rep for 40 mins. No lie I got to spectrum at 6:08 on this day and one customer service person was with a family of 3 and they didn't leave until 6:42, 34 mins later, and who knows how long they were with them because they were there when I walked into the store. Its worse here than waiting at the DMV or County Clerk and when the employees know less than the customers you are just asking for problems"

"The Internet is terrible even though I paid for the highest possible. There were many outages, they decided to raise the price on me to over $100, when I canceled, they charged me an extra $100 for shutting off the service. Due to me being on disability for 3 months, I warned them I couldn't pay that, I paid half of that last week because I finally got back to work and they keep calling and harassing me about it. I'm preparing to get with my lawyer on this. I'd rather pay my lawyer hundreds of dollars than pay this service another penny for the harassment! They called me yesterday and said they'd stop the calls for 2 weeks, I just got a call today."
