"Upon checking into our room there were roaches in our bed and tub! So they moved us into another room. We asked for no housekeeping and not to be bothered. Still had housekeeping try to come into our room and caught one maid looking in our window! We checked out early and were told we couldn’t be refunded! What!? Called our bank and had it refunded that way. Completely useless service! Don’t waste your money!"
"Not even 5 minutes after moving all of my things into this room and the first thing I notice is a suspicious USB that was connected to the provided TV... Yeah... I could probably check and see what's on here but I'm not gonna risk getting some type of malware or having pictures of dead bodies flood my computer. Definitely not feeling safe."
"There is literally no way I'd ever stay here again. I booked two nights for a dog competition at the horse park and was charged when I arrived for two nights. I checked in and went to bed and then the next day we went to the competition and I came back and left my dogs in their crates long enough to run out for food. Came back and both dogs were visibly upset and shaking but I thought it was maybe where i'd just left them. About 10PM someone was open handed beating on my door screaming that I wasn't supposed to be there and they'd rented the room to someone else. Told me I had 10 minutes to make it right with the front. I called the front in panic and they said they messed up and double booked and I'd be returned the money for the second night but that it would take a week to get it back and if I wanted to stay I had to come pay that night and the pet fee AGAIN. Which is an unwelcome change to any trip budget. I spent the rest of the night scared and so were the dogs. Then the guy came back to the door after I paid and said he'd been in there to clean and considered setting everything outside but couldn't move my GREAT DANE In her kennel. Which tells me he'd been in there and tried. Also, at no point was he in labeled clothing. So impossible to even know he was actually employed by them other than to hear he'd been in my room trying to move my dogs. One of which was imported from the war in the Ukraine and is HORRIED by people. Which I told them when I arrived AND kept the Do Not Disturb card on the door. Thank God they were in their kennels or I'd have never seen them again. I emailed the company and got a "general apology" email back and said they'd look into it. But I still haven't heard anything back. They just think this is okay and it's NOT. I can't warn you enough to protect your fur kids and stay somewhere else. I was solo on that trip and the whole issue was very unsettling. I cancelled my future stays with Motel 6 due to this although I had other dog competitions lined up that we ended up not going to entirely because of this. We travel for dog sports frequently but will be using other hotels from now on. I ended up leaving and staying at the La Quinta before coming home and was treated MUCH better."
