"This fascinating museum showcases America’s own horse. It’s amazing to see how versatile this breed is and how these horses played such a big role in our nation’s history and culture. It’s worth a visit anytime you’re in Lexington. Even if you’re not a horse person, do go!"
"Not as big as the neighboring Museum of the Horse, but just as much fun and full of great Saddlebred history!"
"Loved it here! They had lots of intersting things to look at, and I actually learned a lot. Plus the owner gave me and my fellow cadets cookies, so we were grateful!"
"Amazing museum as of writing this the secondary wing is a due to renovations being made. The main wing is still great containing various paintings and metal statues but other than that the main wing does not have much other than the gift shop."
"We visited yesterday, I mentioned that I was a teacher and had a student, who was a struggling reader and loved horses, so I pick up free reading material about horses for my classroom. She asked us if we could wait a minute, she returned with a host of various horse reading material and activities as a gift for my classroom! I can’t wait to see the student’s face. Thank you so very much. The museum is a wonderful place to visit and learn about this specific breed of horse. They currently are remodeling to bring even more wonderful educational exhibits and it is included in admission to the Kentucky Horse Park."
