"not very organized but half off on Wednesdays is great"
"Anita was extremely rude, telling my 7 year old autistic child to find an actual line because she wasn't open. All we were doing was walking by and my daughter wanted to show her her finds. I informed her we were looking then she snapped at me. She should not be working with the public if she can't control whatever it is she's dealing with, taking it out on kids and customers."
"Great place, great employees, great selection, but one thing- if they’re getting all these FREE donated items, why is the price so dang high on a lot of stuff??? Didn’t used to be like that. Poor people shop here, mostly. It should reflect that for what 80% of their customers, including myself??? Making large profits off the underprivileged isn’t cool."
"2022-04-20 Great thrift store experience!!! This is a larger store than many. They had a large selection of furniture in conditions ranging from merely acceptable all the way to excellent! The staff were readily available for price checks and loading assistance. The prices reflected a significant discount from retail (unlike Goodwill industries of late). Also, the staff were willing to make small price concessions for items if they had been in inventory a long while, etc magnifying the joyous feeling of making a good find and getting a great deal! Even for items marked “as is” I was told I would have a (very short) opportunity to check for function and return within three days for in-store credit only. Fair enough! I brought my mother at her request so she didn’t have to face driving I’m austin traffic, but found myself making several purchases of my own. Quite fun in fact! We will both be back."
