"Wharton is one if the PRETTIEST AND NICEST TOWNS IN TEXAS. These Texans are kind, always smiling and go out of their way to help you. LOVE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS. Whataburger you can walk to and Buckees! Loads of McDs, Dennys across street. Wonderful room. CLEAN. It has Dove Soap, shampoo, conditioner, LOTION! This is the Texas EVERY BOOMER grew up in. Exactly what I LOVE ABOUT TEXAS. Was too tired to drive and I purchased Marie Callender pot pies, and steak dinner in shop downstairs. Scrumptious. FRESH COFFEE 24/7 IS FREE. Oh Thank you Holiday Day Inn Express, you made my stay FANTASTIC. Will enjoy my academic conference here. GOD BLESS TEXAS AND WHARTON HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS!"

"Stayed here for a wedding and wasn't expecting much because of it being a small town. It beat my expectations. Staff were friendly, room ceiling on the first floor was so tall (we loved it), everything was clean. I'd recommend staying here if you're in Wharton. Did not use the pool nor did we have breakfast - short trip. Its right next to a Whataburger for a late night snack."
