"My first experience here was not pleasant. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they’re short staffed, but if that’s the issue maybe it’s time to close down permanently until you can get more reliable workers. Seems like from other people’s reviews this isn’t the first time. I stood at the register for 5 minutes and then had to try and track down the store employee. I guess, (during the middle of the day) just as I’d walked in, they decided to close the store down?? The door to get out was locked, so I had to wait for her to check out the guy behind me before I could even exit the store."

"I live exactly a half mile down the road from this store and have been in it at least a dozen or some times in the past year. At this point, they should just shut it down as it is typically not open during business hours due to "orders being received" or just--and this is literally from a handwritten sign posted on the door-- "Closed due to not enough people". Often, when it is open, there is merchandise stacked in the aisles. Frankly, sometimes it is not safe to have people walking around in it. Dollar General has been on a growth tear for some time, putting stores all over the place. However, until they pay higher wages and commit to having more than 1 or 2 employees per store, customers like myself are going to just write them off as a shopping destination."

"For MONTHS now, this place has been closed in the middle of the day. Sometimes for a couple hours, sometimes the whole time. And when they are open, nothing is stocked. Carts loaded with stuff but never put away. They say the close for the trucks but if you go in there you can tell it doesn’t get done. On top of that, you can apply here and they’ll never call you back. They need help but won’t get any. This place honestly just needs to be shutdown at this point. It’s only functional HALF the time and that’s being generous."
