"I understand goodwills purpose is to sell donated items but the pricing is ridiculous, not to sound cheap but if I want to pay over $10 for a top i would go to a regular store...where it’s new and doesn’t have bleach stains. This particular location has pretty nice staff though and is very organized. Pricing is ridiculous I’m sure due to the area"
"So rude! I went to drop off cardstock and craft stuff and the guy was super rude and condescending. Even if you don't want a donation, he should just say they are not accepting that type of donation at this time, not "have you even been in this store?" Don't donate to this store unless you want people to be rude."
"Arrived way before they closed today, everything was neatly folded and in boxes. The man at the donation drop off in the back acted like it was a hassle I brought so many items for donation. One of the items I tried to donate was something we received from Amazon a few days ago; they sent some kind of bedspread/cover to our address. We didn’t order it and Amazon said not to send it back. We didn’t need it and tried to donate it today. Brand new, still in the wrapping but opened to see what it was. Apparently Goodwill doesn’t want donations like this but yet they sell them in their store? I asked if I could use his dumpster to throw it away, he said it’s not for public use. Just shaking his head as he walked back in. Not even a thank you, have a nice day, nothing! Lesson learned - Take your lightly used or even new item donations someplace else. There are many other organizations, secular and religious, around here which will accept them."
"I used to love this location, but the prices have gone through the roof. 20 dollars for a wooden box...from goodwill? I don't think so. Their prices are higher than Ross in some cases. Great stuff, but the prices are INSANE. I will say the store is super clean and the employees and very helpful."
