"Lovely local park with fishing & dock area, a great park for kiddos, walking paths, picnic shelters, as well as plenty of open green space. I bring my 6 and 7 year old girls to play often. I occasionally roller skate the sidewalks as well. You’ll find many friendly faces walking their dogs, doing cardio, etc. My girls love watching the ducks in the pond and standing over the bridge with the tiny “waterfall.” There’s a decent selection of covered picnic tables, as opposed to many other local parks that have only one or two seating areas that are usually taken- especially on weekends. There are not many trees to provide shade, so keep that in mind when you visit. There is a covered picnic area immediately next to the park as well as observation benches out in the open. Walking towards the fishing area you’ll find it quieter! There’s always ducks and the pond fountain to observe. Restrooms are located on that end and kept pretty darn clean. My one complaint is that they’re a bit far from the playground area. Not ideal when you have small children and want to ensure they’re safe. It’s too far for them to go it alone. Baseball fields are kept locked up as an FYI. I was hoping to throw around a ball and teach softball basics, but they’re padlocked off. There’s still a great amount of green space to play and enjoy. Thanks Bedford! You’ve done well with this one for us locals to enjoy."

"With a walker or needing walking assistance, you can not get to the pond. You used to be able to drive up, park, and watch the birds. I could not find the playground area, the swing sets in the slides."

"Went for a 5k. It is a nice place. There is a water park, docks for fishing, a Stonehenge-ish area...big rocks in circle, clean bathrooms and sidewalks for running."

"Playground is tightly fenced with the end of a slide two feet from a paved street. All shade trees were removed. A long walk to bathrooms from playground as residents are not allowed in the new rec center. Trees wiped out to build. Only free activity is frisbee golf. If you are a Y member it's probably fine. It's a beautiful building. But it's not for residents"

"Clean, open, nice area for events. There was an event we attended with live music and hula dancing at the open pavilion stage, food trucks, restrooms and free parking. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a good time on the grassy lawn."
