"Our daughter outgrew the daycare and started Kindergarten. She misses her teachers but they were all so caring to her. Ms. Shontay is truly Godsent! ALL the teachers from the current director who use to be my daughter's teacher (Ms. Gil), to her current teacher Ms. Kayla, her afternoon teacher Ms. Karlesha and even the other teachers in the other rooms, Ms. Cici and Ms. Shelby( travels between centers) have all been a genuine joy to our daughter and our family. We never worried about her being in good hands. When an issue was brought up as a concern years ago, it was immediately addressed (back when Ms. Briana was still there). Even Ms. Briana was very caring! We commend them all because they could be doing anything else yet they chose such a self-less job to teach, train and help our children learn the basic foundations of life! THANK YOU!!!!!"

"As a former staff member and parent, I recommend this school for your little! Shontay and the whole staff are amazing! They loved my kiddo through any mood he was in that day, and I was always communicated with. We only left due to life changes, but we miss them, and I would not have trusted my child to be anywhere else! He has also learned so much and was always excited to go to school. I always had peace of mind while he was there."

"I usually never write reviews, but I have been compelled to do so after having to uproot and move elsewhere. The three years we spent at mid cities scholars was phenomenal and Mrs. Shontay treated my daughter as her own! We miss you guys so much and thank you for the everlasting memories!! It’s been a month and my daughter still asks about her friends and Miss. Victoria. The next facility definitely has some big shoes to fill. Love you guys & keep up the good work!"

"Overall we were happy with mid cities! My daughter attended for about a year. The only reason we withdrew our daughter is because we relocated. There are pros and cons to everything. The biggest pro is the owner treats your little as her own. She sincerely cares about each child as a person not a tuition. Con, lunch is not provided. Also a con, there were a couple incidents with my daughter replacement teacher that had me a bit concerned. However, I did bring it to owner’s attention it was addressed. I would definitely recommend mid-cities!"

"Love, love, love Mid-cities Scholars! For 2 years I’ve entrusted the care of my toddler, now preschooler, to Shontay and her incredible team of teachers (none of which have turned over I should add). As a small business owner, the hours of care I need for my daughter can change from time to time. Mid-cities Scholars has been so flexible and reasonable with the charge for early drop offs, etc. And the teachers are so caring and sweet and loyal to Shontay and the kids. It’s so comforting to leave your child with SAME teachers that have known her and loved on her for years. Whether you need 1 day per week or 5 days, school hours or traditional work hours, this place offers affordable options to meet your needs without sacrificing quality of care. Highly recommend!!"
