"It was great! They've upgraded the register counters with actual conveyor belts to put multiple items and organized the check out lines as well. We went in for basic household items and undergarments.......great options and beats going to Wal-Mart!!!!"

If Family Dollar has a store policy that they won't accept bills over a certain amount, then I'd expect them to have it posted somewhere or at least let the employees know without berating them in front of customers and other staff. "The customer service is always #1 and store always stocked and clean. And being open until 10:00pm is so helpful for those last minute trips to the store. Convenient, clean and number one customer service makes this family dollar my store of choice for weekly shopping and last minute trips. "Store is clean . Female employees need some training on how to greet and treat customers. Every time I go in I have to wait to get checked out. One female was even making a booty call, ignoring me while I stand there. Using foul language, no respect for customers at all.if you don't want to work just quit . Stay home. But I will say Eugene the store manager, greets everyone that comes into the store. He seems pretty cool."
