Reviews
"The staff at Children’s Courtyard are amazing! They have always contacted me promptly with any issues with my infant daughter and we work together as a team to give her the best care. The content updates and photos throughout the day help this first time mom stay reassured that she is getting the best care. I couldn’t be happier with our choice to send her to daycare at Children's Courtyard!"
"My son attended children’s courtyard for 1 day before we unenrolled him. The lead teacher in the early preschool room lacks patience, enthusiasm and compassion for young children. Worst of all she used force by grabbing a small child’s arms multiple times and pushing them back to sitting when they were not wanting to sit for circle time. Later a child was following around the teacher crying and she proceed to use her hand to continually push the child back towards the door in a forceful manner. I also saw her sternly yelling across the room. These are 2 and 3 year olds exhibiting normal age appropriate behavior and while it may be hard to deal with at times, a childcare provider should not be using force. Meanwhile my son was laying on the floor in the corner alone on his first day and no one came by to help encourage him to join the other kids. We are thankful for the camera to be able to know how the kids are really being treated. I asked the director Jody more than once if looking back on the camera was an option and this was never answered, she only said the teacher admitted she was wrong and it was a moment of frustration. Jody said she would watch the camera closer for the next few days as the solution. To us this is not a solution as we shouldn’t need the cameras to monitor when we are paying to have what should be a trustworthy adult watch our kid and know they are safe. I highly recommend looking elsewhere before coming here. We are not new to daycare, we spent 3 years at our last one (only changed because we had to move) and I would not consider this a safe space for children."
"My son Jairo started here a few months ago and I LOVE his teachers! I adore how Alma talks to the babies and loves on them as if they are her own babies. Elizabeth is so great with them too and I think these two make a perfect team. Nothing makes this mamas heart more full than to go into my classroom and my son reaches out for Elizabeth and gets hugs and kisses from Alma. Both teachers are so patient with the kids and never raise their voice or show any frustration which you see sometimes in other classrooms. They always speak to the babies in a calming and loving tone. I wish he could stay in this classroom the entire time!"
"My son was only there for 2 days. The second day he was crying and no one acknowledged his presence and comfort him. When I picked him up, his pants was soaked in his on urine. Even tho his mother left him extra clothes for emergencies, no one bothered to change his soaked urine pants. The teachers have the lack of Positive, caring and compassionate attitude. The lack of ability to help others and the Safety conscious with keen observational skills. Good thing the cameras were there to examine the teachers and see how they treat your little ones."
