"I recently bought a large Halloween decoration at Lowe’s and discovered a couple of screws I needed were missing. I went to Clark’s True Value 10/3/23 at approximately 10am to get a couple of replacement screws and some washers. The guy that waited on me acted like he was frustrated when he couldn’t find the right size screw. He gave me a couple of screws and said these should work. When I got to the checkout stand I told the same gentleman that I needed more washers than the 2 he gave me. He let out a large sigh and proceeded to check out the lady behind me. I laid the screws and washers down and told him to forget it, I would take my business to Lowe’s. I will never grace the doors of True Value again."

"I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted. Was greeted immediately. I was asked could they help me. I told them what I needed. A gentleman walked me back to the Dap products and pulled two off the shelf for me. It was great."

"I found the parts I needed. Got over charged. It was a struggle to get my refund. The guy who checked me out said I had to go to the back of the store for the refund. Then said he could refund me. I was charged $2.00 for washers I didn't buy. I said I bought a dollars worth of washers and was charged for $3 worth. He gave me $1.50 and asked if that was right. I explained again I needed $2.00. I felt like the paper boy from that movie Better off Dead just wanting his $2.00. I under he was confused because I had 4 washers for 12 cents, 4 nuts for 12 cents and 4 washers for 25 cents but I don't under stand how I said I was over charged by $2.00 meant I needed $1.50."
