"Saturday afternoon at Boring Bodega an another exciting time. We played Backgammon. Had a great sandwich and cold drink there. There were various artist with their work on display. This place is a great way to just unwind and relax."
"Really cool experience for being this far out of the city. Great selection of snacks, beers, wine, coffee, and even games to keep the entire group entertained. This is absolutely much cooler for SpaceX/Tesla/Boring Company fans as it has many Easter eggs from each respective company scattered throughout but nonetheless a really cool experience. As others have mentioned as of January 2024 there is a barbershop, bodega (hence the name), couch with classic games on the NES, Darts, Can Jam indoors, Pickleball outdoors, playground for the kids, Cornhole indoors, an espresso bar, and a full bar coming soon I believe. Plenty to do for sure. Downsides? A bit pricey for the fare being offered (I say a bit because I do understand the convenience factor of getting some of these higher end and organic products out in a small town road vs going to HEB or Sprouts) but honestly if I lived closer I’d probably pay the premium but for anyone not living directly on that street I would stick to smaller snacks and some beers. The barista working that day told us that you can purchase any beer of your choosing and enjoy on the premises with friends and there is ample seating indoors and outdoors so unless there is an event of some sort I don’t see a problem with seating. They are taking feedback from the community about what they would like to see in this space and some suggested things like a fitness center, gas pumps (a joke naturally) but I’m sure some would enjoy seeing some superchargers put in, maybe a Tesla/SpaceX,Boring swag store? All in all, well worth the drive out if you are a Tesla/SpaceX/Boring fan boy, or frankly just someone who enjoys cool niche spots. We’ll definitely be returning to see how the space continues to grow."
"We recently attended a holiday party hosted at Boring Bodega and we had an absolute blast. The staff on-site and venue were top-notch. Can’t wait to be back!"
"This is going to be a super nice place to hang out once it is all completed. It is still fun now with the ping pong table, corn hole, Ntando games and lounging areas. There is even a pickle ball court outside and playground coming soon."
"Super cool spot! Great location, great store, great beers. Retro video games. Barber shop. New pickleball courts outside. New bar on the way. Playground under construction. Definitely worth the trip to check out what all they are doing in this area. Very excited to see what this place grows into over time!"
