99 Cents Only Stores 4849 Farm to Market 1960 Road West, Houston, TX 77069

"This was an okay store to visit. 99 Cents does not necessarily mean only 99 cents just that everything is priced so it ends with 99 cents. Because of this there were quite a few things that we came across that were higher priced than what we could get at a grocery store or dollar store. Initially came in just to get a snack for the road and they had plenty of options. Ended up picking up a few prizes for a Christmas game we're planning. The store was pretty cluttered though I'm sure the employees are frustrated try to keep up I seen several customers just messed things up and leave them. Did have a lot of items stuffed into all of the aisles which made it hard if you had people going both ways. Did find one thing I didn't appreciate. The nectar I bought as part of my snack was out of date over a month and had been on the shelf for at least a year. Doesn't give me a good feeling of checking on expired things."

"Lol 99 cent store. Lots of things are well above 99C. It's amazing that they have managed to keep prices that low for so long with inflation. But their containers have also been shrinking, so maybe that how they have managed. Did not pick up a few things I wanted, as the items were not prices and others that were nearby were well over 99C, ie $2.60. Plants were $6 to $7"

"I like the store because there's always something different there but you have to know your prices because some of the things are higher than regular stores. They're especially great for vegetables and fruit, dog treats, rice, pasta lots of things."
