"Absolutely RUDE old lady (Name starts with an S). Constantly nagging customers of the time so she 'can get out of there'. But she refused to help her poor coworker ring people out. I didn't see what her name was but she was newer I believe and she was having to share her location with whoever was picking her up after work so she wouldn't be there alone after the old hag and the other non helpful coworkers left. The old lady and the other lady she was chit chatting with (instead of doing their job their paid for) at the vacant register behind the poor girl were talking about how we all can wait in line because they won't open another lane. Meanwhile, the old lady kept hollering and announcing they were closing every 2.5 seconds. Maybe help?? Maybe DO YOUR JOB YOU'RE BEING PAID FOR. Sorry excuse for an employee and a person. Do better. Be more kind. **this was new years eve."
"Terrible customer service by sheina Shayna sheena whatever her name was. I know it’s New Year’s Eve and you probably don’t want to be there but if a coworker asks if you need help ringing and you tell her outloud no they can wait ! so that all the customers can hear you, maybe customer service isn’t your thing"
"So many bargains. I used to go in with a firm grasp on how much money I would spend. Today I spent $35 and liked it. Nice to find these stores when they have people working hard to keep the shelves full instead of a store that has all of it's merchandise still in boxes on a cart clogging the aisles. Even though I spent too much today I will go back to the store that offered a better run shopping experience."
"Recently the Dollar Trees in the area have made a real effort to clean up their stores and keep them that way. No more near disaster level shelves and the shelves are being restocked. The addition of self checkout is also a welcome change. Best of all is the food selection at most stores. While it's not a wide selection it is in many ways more affordable than Walmart and that's hard to do. Are you into crafts? Most of the stores in the area have a pretty good selection of basics at of course, affordable prices. if you haven’t been to the dollar tree in a while, take the time and head into one see what they have"
"Writing this review in hopes that the right person will see it and do something about the bad management in this store. Cashier was doing her best to assist a family that was checking out in 4-5 separate transactions. During the duration of this, a long line had formed and she still had 2 more transactions to do with this one family. Cashier paged for help TWICE. Both times two managers came out of the office and essentially told her to handle the line by herself and walked off. They told her the other cashier was taking her lunch and she would just have to deal with it and walked off. Then, I’m not sure if the customer decided he didn’t want something or something got scanned twice but she paged for a manager to help remove the unwanted item and again these two older ladies came out. She voided the entire transaction and had the cashier redo the entire transaction with this gentleman “ in order to prevent this from happening again”. And again, did not help with the line which was now all the way through the back of the store. This interaction was so hostile and uncomfortable to watch that I almost set down my things and left the store entirely. I felt so bad for that cashier. FINALLY one of the older ladies exasperatingly said “ I guess I’ll open this one” and opened a second register to help the line. I work in the service industry and it doesn’t usually bother me when service workers don’t pretend to love their job, but it was really unprofessional for this manager to stand around while her team was struggling and then loudly announce to the customers what an inconvenience it was for her to have to help them. While the cashier was checking me out, the other manager came up to her and told her they needed her to stay late so the other one could leave early. You could cut the tension with a knife. Again, this just doesn’t seem like an interaction that should have happened in front of customers. The young lady cashiering was doing her best to help everyone. She was friendly and offered great customer service to everyone in her line. It would really be a shame for her to keep getting treated like that by her management team. It was really uncomfortable watching her ask for help and her management team tell her to figure it out herself while they stood around doing literally nothing. This location is the most convenient for me but after seeing how this manager treats her team members I think I’ll make the drive to another location with a friendlier atmosphere."
