"On Saturday morning my spouse and I visited the Aldi's location on Westheimer Rd in HTX. Now, we go every other week to this location and have never had any bad experiences until Saturday. We completed our shopping and proceeded to the check out. There were 3 team members in the entire establishment that I saw. One, possibly a shift manager and two cashiers one male on female. The male cashier doesn't know how to say excuse me while he walked right in front of us to go into the back area by the coolers...but he wasn't the problem. It was the female cashier who one, never acknowledged our presence. My spouse stepped to the end of the check out station and grabbed our bags and proceeded to open a bag being the cashier was throwing our items. Like, since your throwing them, throw them in the bag. The cashier said, "maam, we do not bag". Yeahh, we know that which is why we have our bags with us. Totally rude and disrespectful and tried to say she was hit by the bag. No, she was throwing our merchandise and the male cashier in front of her had assisted his customers by allowing the gentleman to hold his bag and he just tossed the items in it. Anyway, she continued on, I paid and she says, you can get your own receipt and she walks over to grab another cart. Now we are bagging our grocery and she calls what may have been the shift manager over points in our direction and he looks but says nothing. I'm being very observant at this point. Apparently he wasn't pressed by her comments as her attitude was very unprofessional and demeanor screamed, "I don't even want to be here". Not the consumers problem. Long story short. We will NEVER patronize this location again. We will go to another friendlier location where the customers are treated with respect and the cashiers handle the customers merchandise with care and not attitude and throwing items . Its one thing to place the items back in the cart for the customer to bag but to throw items is unacceptable. All because of this experience I will drive further out for better service."
"I've been coming to this aldi since it opened. For the first time I was disappointed yesterday. There were 3 employees by the register one being the cashier. They were so loud, ghetto and obnoxious. One even dropped the word $#!t... I don't come to the grocery store to get my kids to listen to things that they don't listen to in our own home. There was a moment that the lady (our cashier) stopped scanning products, so she could finish telling a story to the skinny gentleman and the braided hair lady. And there was a long line! If you are gonna hire people at least make sure they are professional and educated, because it only makes you guys look bad... im sorry .... I still love your products though!"
"I once loved Aldi for an easy in & out shopping experience, but this location isn’t as high quality as others around the Houston area. It’s also not competitively priced anymore as you can save more at other grocery stores. The checkout process always takes a while too as there’s usually 1 register line open & that’s it. This particular location has also gotten pretty sketchy & there’s always homeless individuals outside that will approach you trying to corral your baskets for the spare quarter. That can be very unnerving for women & families. For that reason 2/5. I’ll stick to H‑E‑B!"
"0 star for this store , we shopped many times from that store and all this times we don’t feel safe because of some individuals taking money from the shoppers, also he followed my family to get the shopping cart from them to gate the 25 cent, my family don’t feel safe there, I spoke with the manager and she said they didn’t bother us and we don’t bother them, But they bothered the customers and feel unsafe because they follow our family ."
"Only keeps one line open and it's starting to be a bit fustrating!!!"
