"Terrible experience with the lash tech!! She was very rude and when I asked her to sterilize my lashes before filling them she refused to. She showed me my first eye before moving on to the next and I asked her again About why she didn’t clean my lashes first to remove any oils and she became very rude and said that they don’t do that so I ended up leaving right then because I realized how unsanitary that is my eye is now burning and bloodshot and of course my lashes are falling out already Because she did not remove any oil that I On my eyelid before starting.save your time and Go somewhere else"

"The establishment was clean and the people were friendly. Apparently they get confused with the Bellaire location quite frequently. Overall the actual quality of the service is subpar. My gel polish started chipping after two days. TWO DAYS! That’s ridiculously quick. I am not sure I can trust them with a more complicated design. Their pedicure was OK. There was a visible difference in the quality of service between races. You can receive better quality of work elsewhere. I recommend Summit Nails in Missouri City."

"Looking at a lot of these reviews here and believe that a lot of them are misplaced. There is a River Oaks Nails on Bellaire Blvd that takes Groupon and apparently refused credit cards to some clients. I assure you that these reviews are incorrect and NOT for River Oaks Nails on Westheimer. My wife and I have been going to the location here on Westheimer for several years, and can assure you that Trish and her employees are nothing but 100% professional and do an excellent job of manicure and pedicure. I have never seen any of eye procedures mentioned done at River Oaks Nails on Westheimer."

"The most horrific and painful experience I’ve EVER had! I’ve gotten eyelash extensions for the last year and I’ve never been in so so so much pain!!!!! The eyelash tech, Julie, was rude and incompetent! She didn’t stop even when I told her I’m in pain and my eyes are welting up. She was horrible. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere legit. This was horrific. She denied seeing any redness in my eyes despite them being bloodshot red, and she shooed me away because her next client was here. She didn’t bother to apologize or offer a refund. She said “I’m a professional and went to a real school, I don’t know where you went before” I asked her multiple times to stop because my eyes are very obviously irritated and watering and she wouldn’t! I asked her why I’m in this much pain and she said that I’m not in pain and this is very normal. I’m attaching photos to this post. Beware of Julie and of River Oaks Nails and Spa. I’ve filed a complaint with Groupon and also have reported their business. It’s been now 12 hours since my appointment and I’m still very much in pain and need to follow up with an optometrist as the redness and pain are prevalent. The pictures posted are of my eyes at the time of service and my eyes currently."

"I’m new to the river oaks area so I needed a new nail spa to go to. I went to this one since it was the closest. When I walked in, I was not greeted. When I sat in the chair, I showed her what I wanted and she told me she could try to do the design. She then asked me to choose my length and told me it was too long. Throughout the process, I was cut and my nails were bumpy because of the poor foundation. I even had air bubbles on some of my nails. Also while sitting there, every other customer that came through the door was greeted and offered a complimentary beverage. Fast forward to one week later, two of my nails have broken straight across. This only happens when the foundation is poor."
