"I absolutely love shopping at Daido to cure my Japanese cravings & much prefer it over the other chain store here in Houston. For a very small & compact store, the selection is absolutely outstanding. Parking is easy, it’s never crowded, it’s clean, well organized & appealing to the eye, the customer service is outstanding & everyone that works there is super welcoming & helpful. The prices are extremely fair & there’s always various sales & discounts to be had. My favorite finds are the freshly made sushi & bento boxes/premade meals. The seafood is always amazingly fresh & of the absolute highest quality! It’s a locally owned minority business that provides amazing products & amazing service so what’s not to love?! It makes me feel like I’m in Japan with no long flight or passport needed. Support this phenomenal business & continue to help them thrive. There’s something for everyone to enjoy here. 5/5 stars!"
