"I purchased a med size basket and request Shay to fill it with a specific amount of fruit; 4 large red apple, 4 large orange, 3 green pears, 3 med-large bananas, a grapefruit and bunch of red grapes and one avacado. I purchased a box of brauch's individually wrapped peppermints, the small ones to empty the candy in the basket on top of the fruit. In total there should have been Sixteen pieces of fruit. There was thirteen and the oranges sent in the basket were smaller than the ones I showed her to put in the basket. She asked me to show her the fruit I wanted in the basket. We walked through the produce department as I showed her what to place in the Christmas gift basket ......and apparently someone substituted size and quanity..Cost was $67+, delivery included. I was informed that fruit from the list were missing from the basket and were not of the size I showed her I wanted in the basket."
"Expired items. I bought this juice on Jan 8, 2024, but didn’t realize it was expired until half was gone. I’d truly understand if it was a few days expired, but over a month is ridiculous! I’m glad I didn’t get sick, but management needs to have better oversight of their merchandise. This isn’t the first or the second time this has occurred (once with cheese and the other with meat). I vowed to start checking dates more often, but as luck would have it, I forgot!"
"This is the absolute worst Randalls in the area. After standing at bakery counter for 15 minutes with no service And having a front supervisor call for help a very disgruntled employee comes over to help. Mumbling under her breath about it’s not her department. She can’t find the cake order placed hours before. Another employee comes over stating they don’t have a cake decorator today and she has no clue maybe our cakes are upstairs. Go upstairs to find a locked space with a number to call for assistance. The “assistance” exists the elevator asking if we were who tried calling her. Never answered the phone. Just got off elevator and told us we needed a cart. Which are downstairs to pick up cakes. She wouldn’t even look for the order until I got a cart. When she finally looked for order she didn’t have it either. I expressed how messed up this situation was and that I wanted a manager and corporates number. The manager Terrel came to the bakery where I was sent for the 3rd time. Terrel was absolutely no assistance and actually asked me to leave the premises without even hearing the issue. The best thing you could do for this location is close the doors. The location is horrible, the panhandlers are relentless and the staff at this store have serious attitude issues and should by no means be in customer service. The manager came across as racist and unconcerned as to whether or not his customers receive good service and if you have an issue while there and feel the need to voice your opinion you’re the problem Not the lack of training or general customer service skills the staff possess , but the customer is the problem in their opinion"
"I hadn't been back in a Randall's since Safeway bought them out in Houston. Had a chance to check out the store off Milam @ Webster in Midtown. Idk, the jury is still out at the moment. The store seemed really cramped and the parking in front was kind of hectic and tight. The cashier "Kasey", that helped me at the self checkout was extremely nice, patient and helpful! Prices were good but I'll have to comparison shop with Kroger's to see."
"Very clean and organized. Easy to find what you are looking for through out the aisles. Get your Randalls card for an extra discount each day."
