"Very rude woman and the smell is horrendous! Very limited selection"
"Never will I go to this store again! The reason she doesn’t add the name of the items being purchased is because she double the price and also charge you for things you didn’t purchase. She just charged me $140. On her receipt it shows 20 items purchased, but I only have 15 items! That’s stealing! I overheard she does that often to customers , but I’m a victim today! There’s no reason why you can’t type in the names of the products you sell to customers! This is a new era, technology is advanced to do anything. Even local petty stores provide you a receipt with items listed when you purchased from there!"
"We arrived and they were closed during business hours. Before we could leave, someone rushed up to unlock the door offering no apology. About 10 school kids followed in behind her. The store stinks something fierce, just as it has the last two times we visited. And just as before, I was quoted one price and charged something else! This is why they don't price the items. When I asked, the hamite woman told me cassava flour was 2.99 but she charged me 3.99 at the counter. I asked how much the plantain chips were and she said they were 1.99 then changed it to 2.99! My family will not be returning to this sorry excuse of a store with horrible service and zero integrity. Touch of India down the street is so much better, they're clean, well organized, no offensive odors, visible pricing and customer service is excellent. That's where we will continue to shop for ethnic food items."
"Great place. The lady has a loving personality and makes you feel welcome. I get my shea butter and palm oil from here"
"I love this store, it's where I get my comfort food and feel at home. First, unlike other African food stores I've visited, this store is neat and clean always. The lady is really friendly and the prices are right. I was even shocked to get fresh waterleave there. Highly recommended."
