Magic Foodmart 5100 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, TX 78229

"I have past this store many times and have never been moved to stop there. Today I thought I'd stop in a frosty bottle of Sprite Zero or.. possibly, Diet 7-up. After entering the store for a cursory look, I quickly surmised that this store housed the usual reduced selection common to independent C-stores-neither of the beverages I wanted were there. Instead, I settled on a Cold Starbucks Frappucino.....I took it and went to the counter to pay. Imagine my surprise when the woman minding the store told me the price... $4.31 W....T.....F......? I looked at the bottle again, does this bottle contain serum from the fabled "Fountain of Youth" mixed with the frap ? I know Starbucks branded drinks are more expensive than most others, but I have never seen them over $2.25 or so... Turns out the only thing "Magic" about the place is... well, I'm sure you know what it is."

"The gentleman working the counter was so friendly, and helpful. Stopped in because I needed to use the restroom, and told him I was going to buy something but I could I please use his restroom first. He told me I don't need to buy anything, if I have to go, I have to go. I still bought stuff obviously, but I was so surprised by his manners and kindness. Kind of hard to find that nowadays. I'll always stop back in if I'm in this area to contribute to his business! I had stopped at 2 of the business before him, and bought things and asked to use their restroom to be refused. I was thankful for him, because I just had a baby, and my bladder is still weak. So, thank you to the gentleman working the counter for your kindness and customer service. Wish more places were like this! Plus, they were cheap!!!"

"I had walked into Magic Food store... And the Gentleman that was working was very Polite, and place is clean, and the big Plus is that each time I go back and buy a Scratch Offs I in up WINNING!!! On 1 of them that I buy...."

"It's the store on the corner of Magic Drive and Fredericksburg. The owners are wonderful. They are very nice and customer service is great. 4 stars only due to their cigarettes prices. The cigarette prices in a 1 mile radius for Marlboro blacks 711/tetco 5.25 Citgo $5.30 store next to Tami's pizza $5.20 Riz Mart where they are $5.50 At this place they are more than $6 and closer to a dollar more. I would like to rate 4.95 because during Thanksgiving I couldn't find cranberry sauce, they were open and they had it. On another occasion I needed yeast and they had it. It really is a convenient, convenience store."
