"really nice staff! it’s a small museum but interesting and free. i’ve heard they’re closing in April 2024 so make sure to get in while you can!!"
"Quirky, small and fun. I loved the art cars and would love to see the 200-300 art cars during the April parade. The collages of the museum founder were interesting, but they did not quite drew me in. It was the 3 art cars that made the trip very worthwhile. I also appreciated the funky building architecture. We received a wonderful and informative welcome by the receptionist. Beware -- the museum likes you to make a reservation in advance since parking is very limited. However, we were lucky and found plenty of street parking."
"Lovely staff!!! It is free but donations are welcomed. You will need to make an appointment for a viewing."
"This gallery features local artists and for the next six months will feature the founder Ann Herithas. She passed away recently and this is a memorial showing. She was an amazing artist that had a wonderful life and she dedicated it to developing the art scene in Houston. The started the Art Car parade and founded three art galleries in Houston and Victoria, where she grew up. Her work was mainly in collage and her art was both powerful and poignant. I enjoyed my time spent here and recommended stopping by."
"The traveling art exhibit was great. The cars were fun, too. Parking was limited, be aware and communicate with the owners, they were helpful. We really liked it, it was a bit small but the staff were super knowledgable."
