"This place is a must see and enjoy place. There are several bird blinds for the bird watchers, and even the not so serious like bird watchers. Beautiful wooded area with bathrooms, and crushed granite paths. Dogs are welcomed, on a leash. However, there is a dog park area so they can run free. And it's right next to Cibolo creek for the fishing fans. Please check it out, we need more areas like this. My hats off to Schertz for the amazing woodland wonder."
"This place has a great walking trail. And also it has great fishing areas on the river."
"I love walking the trails with my dog ... Always enjoy my time there.. Beautiful"
"This is a well manicured trail. There’s paved trails and I believe two bird blinds. I was only able to see one, and when I got there so the birds flew. It’s relaxing and in the middle of the trail you’ll find a creek. The entrance has a bulletin board with monthly activities the city is hosting. The bathrooms are well taken care of."
"We were looking for a place to walk our dog Nugget and decided to try this park.. Apparantly it used to have homes here but because it is a flood plain they were removed and made into a nature preserve. There are still remnants of the old roads but nothing else. Several trails in the park and a couple of bird blinds. We took the trail the circles around the park for a nice long walk."
