"Our 20m daughter has been at TCG for two weeks now. We were new to daycare, so we were very nervous. So far we've had a great experience. They are very communicative and our daughter is adjusting well. They offer a USAA and/or military discount, which is great for working parents. They also stay open until 6:30. My daughter hugs her teachers and its adorable. She likes them."
"Beside the obviously disgruntled parents reviews, please do actually read this one. My daughter that was a covid baby as well as we stayed home for a while I took a leap of faith and went back to work, we had another daycare that we loved but mom works in medical center now so we made the switch to somewhere closer to work. I can not even explain how incredibly blessed to have found such an incredible daycare and also school that she gets to learn and be with her friends. Miss Lisa, Tina, Cindy, Jenny, Deanne are some of the most incredible teachers I could ever wish for. I love hearing my daughter excited and asks me can we go see my ladies? Please read this post as this is a true review and not someone that has whatever issue they’d like to believe. This daycare is one of the best in the area and am so happy I found them just on my way to work. Ps all these bad reviews are just family members that have never seen this establishment ever !"
"I have 2 children that attend this daycare. I have a 3 year old and an after schooler. They have a very structured environment and teach the children. The kids just don’t run around and play all day they actually learn. They are always sending home projects and class work the kids have completed. My kids just love it here! Our experience here in the past 7 months has been wonderful! The teachers are great with the children! My little girl loves it so much she wakes up excited to go to school. Ms. Cindy was her absolute favorite but she’s transitioned to 3 year old class and loves Ms Jenny. She’s excited to go to school everyday and see her teacher and friends. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly and very helpful at answering any questions and solving an issues we’ve had. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone! I had a hard time finding a good daycare when the one we used for many years abruptly shut down. My kids went to 4 different daycare’s last year till I found a GREAT one at The Children’s Garden! We just love it here!!! ❤️❤️❤️"
"I would give this daycare zero stars if I could. There was an incident on January 10th, I was dropping my son off in the two year old classroom with Ms.Cindy. After I dropped him off and shut the door I watched him through the little window they have, as I was watching there were two children hitting each other. One was a little boy and one was a little girl. All the kids were sitting down at the circle table. Well Ms.Cindy yelled at the little boy and the little boy started to cry, Ms.Cindy then proceeded to grab the little boys chair from behind and forcefully push the chair to the point where the child’s body swayed sideways. She then left the child to cry in the corner all by himself. I preceded to tell Christina, the front desk lady. She then told me, “Mom you’re more than welcome to talk to Ms. Cindy, she did have to redirect the child from hitting his classmate.” First of all, why would they let me talk to the teacher myself, so unprofessional. Secondly why was no necessary action taken against Ms. Cindy. She’s still employed. Christina tried downplaying the situation by saying, “Now I didn’t see what you saw,” and re-assured me everything was okay that Cindy was JUST “redirecting” the child. If that’s how they “redirect” children then they should NOT be in an environment with children AT ALL! There were multiple instances where I picked up my child and he would be the last kid crying, sitting alone rocking himself. Like he’s trying to comfort himself. The teachers provide no comfort whatsoever to my child. When I mentioned that to Christina, she told me, “I talked to the teacher and she told me she did try to comfort your son but when children don’t want to be comforted we back off and give them their space.” First of all, I would appreciate if they would come to me and say, “Mom your son is having some trouble getting used to our daycare, what would you like us to do in those situations where he cries?” But no, they just try to downplay every situation. There was another situation where another child pushed my child and my child hit the back of his head on the floor. The incident happened at 11:35am and Christina texted me at 1pm about the incident. I was confused as to why no one called me as soon as it happened and Lisa, the director told me, “We don’t HAVE to call parents when something happens, it’s a courtesy.” And I told Lisa, “so my son hitting and landing on the back of his head is not a big deal to where you guys call me right away?” She then proceeded to tell me, “We only call when something is life threatening.” I understand kids are going to be kids, they may hit and push other kids, that’s not what I was upset about. I was upset about the fact they did not call me right away to let me know. My son is only two years old, his brain is still developing, so yes that is a big deal to me. But clearly it is not a concern to Christina, and the director Lisa. Ms.Cindy, Christina, and the director are very unprofessional and clearly only want to protect their workers and daycare instead of the children. I would advise if you have a toddler, to please choose another daycare. Unfortunately cause of CCS standards, I had to leave my son in this daycare until I was able to find another daycare for him because they do track absences and the whole transfer process would take up to 15 days. But I did make sure to report everything I saw. Her response to my review shows what kind of person she truly is. It’s sad she uses the word, “allegations,” I have no reason to make up something like that. But again it just proves what kind of person she is, she is only looking out for her employees and her daycare. Not the children. I’ve tried being professional with all of them since the first day my son enrolled in their daycare, even after witnessing Ms.Cindy mistreat that child with my own eyes. I’m not upset she chose to terminate services, it honestly made the process to transfer my son easier. I’m writing this review as a mother, and to warn other parents what this daycare, and the staff is truly like."
"If it was my choice I wouldn’t even give this place a star! Horrible service and the woman there have no respect all just rude! Please don’t send your kids here unless you want them to be somewhere where they aren’t taken care of properly! They won’t call you if something happens to your kid they’ll wait hrs to finally give you a call?! Crazy right ? No camera’s either because they are worried about hackers. DON’T RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!"
