"It’s great and safe. They’re making a new covered picnic area! There is a nice peaceful walking loop through the pretty neighborhood."

"Good park, our kids had fun on the playground and playing on the fallen trees beside the playground. Then only thing that lacks is a bathroom. We had to leave our group time early because there was no where for my little one to go potty. Other than that, it's a great little park."

"I did not go to, nor have I ever been to Avondale, I drove past it on the main road, Nottingham. I can't see much of the park, the entrance of which is basically the dead end of the cross street from once upon a long time ago. Yup, I'm old enough to know that it was once just a Dead End with a copse of trees and some bushes. It's good they put a park there, I think."

"We love Avondale Park. It has a play ground with picnic tables.There is a basketball court, two tennis court, a huge covered area for get together with a grill (charcoal). A little creek not for playing or get wet. The lots of green areas and path to walk. Parking lot is very small and there aren't bathrooms around the park. There is also a field to play soccer and you can ride your bike there also. There is always a lot of kids there."
