"The Meat Market Department is horrible customer service. For years I have been going to Vista Market on Zaragoza Rd. Nevertheless, the meat you pick cannot be cut in half . It is their policy. The want me to pay for the meat first and then bring it back to them ,so they can cut it after you have paid for it. It is ridiculous and unsanitary. The supervisor older gentleman with a one eyebrows stated that his boss does not allow it to be cut due to people leaving the meat behind. This is a lame excuse. Because I could ask for 50 pounds of uncut meat and then leave it at the register. I am fed up with this place. The next time I went a white gentleman requested his meat to be cut and the young man asked the old man if he could ,and he said Si. When it my turn it was same story. I have always had to talk to a manager to get the meat cut but this stupid policy is still in place. Don't have a meat Market if you don't want serve the public."
"very expensive food. pork skins not very tasty, I've had better. I was going to buy brisket but 13.99 a lb...no thanks. only had one cashier and about 4 self check outs and lines long"
"Need to update my review. This was when they opened their location. Unfortunately, things have changed. And for the worse. The flour tortillas have lost that home taste they used to have. The menudo is no longer as flavorful as it used to. Like today, for instance. The meat was very hard, as if it wasn't cooked properly! Last week, the meat I bought from the meat department, supposedly fresh, when I cooked on stove top, filled my home with a very bad smell through out my home. I tasted a piece, and had a chemical taste to it. I had to throw it away! This is a strike three for them! I will no longer shop there."
"Very clean and organized. Good prices. Took our daughter so she could get to know the store. However it was extremely cold. We could not look around and shop as we would have wanted. Cold was unbearable. Something you should consider. You want people to enjoy their shopping and spend, spend, spend."
"I like the store, the decor is nice. I bought an Agua Fresca, and I was drinking it and I finished it all fast. I opened it and it was ice all the way to the top. $3 spent."
