"Awesome place, very addictive. Don't know what others are saying about people being rude. Everyone I talk to is nice and very informative on what I need. They have a great selection of toys and rc cars. There's a little something here for everyone. I absolutely love this place."
"The store needs better customer service. I was asked to return an item (RC LiPo battery) to the store and Keith, the sales clerk who attended me, was a bit of a jerk. He asked me what car I needed the battery for and I continuously told him I wasn't sure because it was a gift return for a friend. I don't know much about cars and was asked to take it back to the store for refund or in-store credit. When he finally accepted to give back a gift card, he threw the gift card and receipt on the counter. He also suggested, "next time, bring the car, so i know the exact battery I'm looking for." I said thank you and left. My personal suggestion is this: Mr. Keith, let's learn some courtesy and manners with your clients, your attitude and how you handle customer service says a lot about you. I'll make sure and tell friends that my experience at this place was negative and do not recommend."
"Finally a great store I know and love! Traveled 4.5 hours to visit. This location did not disappoint. I’ve visited many locations up and down the East Coast; loved it just as much. Thanks for the memories and great gifts!!"
"Update to owners response at bottom! Never have my children and I every been so rudely treated and discriminated against in a store. As we were browsing the store, my son was holding a squish toy we had gotten off of the shelf. A grown women...come to find out the manager/owner...came up to him and snatched the toy from his hands and proceeded to tell him rudely and with an attitude that there are signs everywhere stating not to open any boxes. At that point, I spoke up and said we did not open any box it was just sitting on the shelf. She turned and walked away with no response. We immediately left the store because I will not spend our hard earned money and be treated that way. Also, a grown woman should not be putting their hands near my child or touching them for any reason .....all should have been addressed with me the parent in a tactful way. It was very upsetting to my son.We were not in the wrong at all and she should have checked her million security cameras which she was doing when we left before she approached us in that aggressive way. Upon calling back to the store to speak with the manger the day of and the day after=total of 2 times (which was the same person both days) to try and get resolution or some type of apology. I was told i was banned from the store after a conversation that went no where as she was rude and condescending both days. You mess with someones child you will get an angry momma calling you. Also, I guess you can play with the toys all over the floor. As there was a couple with their son their sitting on the floor burning the bottom off a top like they were at home. I guess if you look a certain way coming into the store you are treated differently. Update in response to post from Owner: I never screamed via the phone I was firm and assertive. Now that the truth is out of what the so called employee (thought it was the owner who should have more customer service abilities and tact) and now it affects reviews and is out in the open I get a response/apology. Regarding the interaction, she did take it from his hands abruptly without asking or acknowledging herself and the situation. Also , this is the only review I have left on this site and also only called twice and spoke to the same woman both times. Hence more false accusations from this business.I want nothing from this business as we will never go there again nor will we speak highly of it.It just needs to be out in the open how customers are treated and discriminated against in this store."
"Visited the new store and chatted with the owner, very happy for their much needed growth. The new store is beautiful and spacious, actually get to look at and see all the products they have to offer, and have hands on with the product. They have a room where you can work on your projects, and even do some classes. This was much needed in Lubbock for us hobbyist. There is a great mixture of everything from RC cars, trucks, boats and plans to puzzles, Legos and science projects definitely your one stop shop for everything you need."
