"Free museum that features two main halls. The first one is WWII and is a nice tribute to the locals that fought in the war. The second hall is (if I understand correctly) a floating exhibit. I saw exhibits about the local community theater and found it to be charming. Docent was very friendly. Plan on 20-30 minutes. Worth a stop."

"Small collection of Midland's (and surrounding west Texas area) pictures, furniture, clothes, toys, and other memorabilia housed in a metal frame warehouse. Check out the replica of a skull fragment of "Midland Man" - actually a female's - found south of Midland and said to be about 10,000 years old. The museum is free. Friendly museum guide. Plenty of parking. Look for it adjacent to the county library."
