"Brandi was very helpful with our flooring process. Multiple bids and also helping get everything set up and following up."
"Brandi in the Midland store was super helpful and attentive to our requests. The prices fit our budget and installation went smooth. We would purchase from this location again."
"Torie took time to show me around and was very professional. They didn’t have what I needed exactly for this project but I’ll be back! The prices looked great and the store has a HUGE selection! Thanks Torie!"
"I would not use Paul Evans again if it were free. Using them was the worst experience I have ever had buying literally anything. In the last six months I have bought counter tops for three different projects, this time just happened to be my own kitchen. To start, we had an estimate done on replacing our kitchen counter tops. The price was actually the best quote that I had received I will admit that, they beat their competition substantially. Super long story cut short due to character restriction, we had an ordeal simply getting the sample piece we we’re looking for. After two trips and us calling the store multiple times without any calls back, we got the sample piece and decided it was the one that we wanted so we made the purchase on November 14th. The counters were supposed to be installed on December 14th. No big deal. It gave us plenty of time to get the kitchen ready. The night of the 13th I removed all of my old counter tops, the kitchen sink, the dishwasher, and cook top, the whole 9 yards. I scheduled a plumber to be there the afternoon of the 14th to hook the sink/dishwasher back up. I took off on vacation that day to make sure I was there when installers arrived. I texted my contact at the store to get an eta that morning, I was then told that the counter tops weren’t even in yet. Thanks for the heads up, doing the dishes in the bathroom sink is what I enjoy doing. A heads up on the 10th would have been deeply appreciated when they knew the counter tops weren’t in. I then had to reschedule my plumber. I was told that Thursday, the 17th at 10:00 my counters would arrive and be installed. So I once again took another day of vacation to be home. Installers showed up at 11:40. At 10:05 my contact at the store told me it would be within an hour. I understand when contractors run late, 100% understand it, I just don’t like being led on. The guys that showed up to install were super nice guys that were just doing their jobs. They set the under mount sink first, then brought in the counter that sits on top of the sink. It’s 4” off. It’s obviously been cut and/ or measured wrong. The owner of the store measured twice. The first one is a rough measurement for a price estimate. The second time its laser measured. (I had to call the store and ask what day he would show up to do the laser measuring, not the other way around). The guys then brought in the next counter for the other section of cabinets. No problems on that one. But once again had to reschedule my plumber showing up. So, I received a phone call from my contact at the store telling me they have been informed of the situation and a new counter will be expedited and be installed December 23rd. I agreed but said I wouldn’t take another day of vacation and would have to be 3pm or later for install when I am home from work. This time I scheduled my plumber to show up the next day, yup Christmas Eve. On the 23rd I texted my contact saying I was off work way early and if they needed to they could come earlier but I was 100% okay with the 15:00 time frame. At 17:30 that afternoon they still had not shown up so I texted once again asking for an eta. I was told an hour and a half. So now the eta is 19:00. At 19:20 I was told 30 more minutes. At 20:28 I was told they were on their way. At 21:26 they finally arrived. You didn’t read that wrong. 9:26 pm they showed up at our home to install counter tops. The guys removed the incorrect counter top, reset the sink, and installed the new counter top and new bar with no problems. They do great work. Except the fact that they left my house at 01:16 in the morning and it was a complete disaster. They cleaned up nothing. I had a trail of quartz dust from my kitchen to the front door and acetone all over my floors that I had to clean up. If you want to settle for messy work and terrible customer service and possibly run the risk of not having a working kitchen for 10 days, be my guest use Paul Evans but don’t say I didn’t warn you."
