"We saw "The Father" and the actors were very good. I cried through the whole show. It is a very accurate portrayal of what it's like living with someone with dementia or alzheimers. My dad passed away with alzheimers and the actor who played the father did an amazing job at showing what it might be like to have alzheimers. It's very heartfelt and very heartwrenching."
"Amarillo Little Theatre (ALT) is a community theatre consisting of two spaces. The Adventure Space is a flexible black box theater space that seats 180. It is also home to ALT's academy classrooms. The ALT mainstage has auditorium seating for 453 and also houses administrative offices, box office, costume storage, and two state-of-the-art dance studios. Adventure Space productions are less traditional and sometimes come with warnings for adult content, language, etc. In my opinion, ALT is one of the best community theatres in the country. They are celebrating their 96th year. Do yourself a favor and go see one of their productions. I don't think you will be disappointed."
"This place is truly an adventure. The plays and musicals they showcase here are usually challenging, covering difficult topics or concepts, but they always feature incredible talent and tell a great story, even if you're not ready to hear that story."
"The Underpants was very funny & what you would expect from Steve Martin's version of the original play. All the actors were spot on especially Shannon Mashburn. I would say she stole the show. The new chairs were larger & very comfortable. Don't miss this one as there's still time left to see it!"
"Always a great place to go for local entertainment. The adventure space is intended for less traditional theater and for the Amarillo Little Theaters educational programs. I have attended several performances here and have never been disappointed. The ALT is is a GREAT asset to Amarillo and the Texas panhandle."
