"Winans Motorsport shop is the best yet! Chris (owner) has been my mechanic since I’ve moved back to Texas. My brother is a mechanic as well but lives too far away. Chris has treated me like family and has always been fast, trustworthy, honest, professional, highly experienced & knowledgeable, and is more than fair on cost! He has fixed my car so many times and at times with very short notice! I would highly recommend his shop! I won’t ever take my car anywhere else. I’m very thankful for this shop and for Chris helping me out from clutch replacement, performance, timing belt, replacing my turbo, repair from flood, the list could go on at this point!!!"

"I take my Mustang and Durango to Chris for everything. Super smart and likes to teach as he work if you’re willing to learn. Because he’s improved his business skills he’s moved into a much larger shop to accommodate different aspects of his skills. It’s been a challenge but he’s overcame the influx of business and meets expectations."

"Terrible. Chris is a thief, liar and crooked. My experience is too long to write. He will lie straight to your face and try to charge you for parts and services that he never ordered or rendered. I'm sure all 5stars reviews are him. If I can give him 0 stars I would. He had my car for 4 months and didn't do anything but take my engine out and lied. about parts ordered and service completed. Caught him in his lies upon verification."

"Start out rough-but everyone goes through stuff and my wife read the reviews and there was some doubt. But these guys came thru They did a good job on my upgrades and tune! Plus they are great mechanics and if they can’t do something they are upfront about it. It’s hard to run a business today, Covid, supply chain issues and life make it hard for young folks today. I trusted- and they came thru-I will use again and if you need upgrades or a tune especially for Volkswagen and Audi they got you!!"

"I should sue this business but they're not worth the wasted time and money, so I'm going to advise the general public instead to avoid the shop. I paid for an LS swap and a long list of parts & labor for the work. The shop actually stole over $3500 in parts that I provided to be installed on the truck and sold them off to someone else. I spend about $9k toward the build but Chris refused to work on my vehicle, even after I provided additional money to try to buy some time in the shops work bay. My truck was there for about 16 months, zero work was performed, Chris lied to me every step of the way with progress supposedly being made, and in the end they stole from me. They also let a long block that I had build elsewhere sit outside and completely exposed for the majority of the time so I had to spend another $2500 to have a machine shop disassemble, clean, and reassemble the motor. I ended up paying a wrecker to pick up the vehicle, collected the short list items that had not been stolen and sold off, and took the build elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money with this shade tree mechanic and thief."
